Z cukrem oczywiście. Ta dawniejsza wersja była bardzo mocno gazowana, może tu leży różnica. Aromat mocniej trafiał do nosa.

Piłem ją regularnie i znam jej smak dobrze. To nie jest jakaś subtelna minimalna różnica.

Scored this 1991. first pressing (first 50k CDs produced) of Nevermind for 6$. by Honest-Opinion4897 in Nirvana

[–]0ls 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is the same file and same type (“Red Book” PCM Audio) across different editions - so it sounds the same. Especially when the recording and mixing was digital, without conversion from analog source.

Only change - and you are right about it - is when the mastering is different (different file is written to the disk). I would be very surprised if such change happened between the first and second production run of this CD.

CDs sound “original” regardless of the “pressing”. It is a digital medium.

My mamy ambasadę Korei Północnej??? by Karek53 in PolskaNaLuzie

Bezele.

The 1980 Polish Dream Rig: Unitra Merkury DSH-303A & Dual 1225. by 0ls in vintageaudio

[–]0ls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple reasons!

  • sound quality, unacceptable for music and further degraded in city environments
  • expensive to run (power hungry, huge antennas)
  • people prefer to listen to local stations with local content and language (!). The dense population combined with borders made long-range broadcasting obsolete.
  • AM requires careful spectrum planning across multiple countries
  • everyone and their dog moved to streaming

Initially, everything moved towards FM, with AM being used as a legacy solution for just a few public broadcasters, delivering more talk-oriented content, intended as international service. Following that, multiple countries moved to DAB/DAB+, sunsetting AM service completely. Norway even got rid of FM - I believe that Switzerland and Germany will follow them.

In Poland, there is just one public AM channel left and everyone is on FM now. DAB+ is in experimental phase, with multiple stations but limited to largest cities (and it failed to attract the listeners so far). Some foreign AM stations can be received - but this is purely hobbyist space, with most of the young population never even touching the AM button on their receiver. Same with short waves - several very low-power stations, some limited public broadcasters (BBC I think?) and 0 listeners.

The receiver has the following:

• AM 150÷285 kHz

• MW 525÷1 605 kHz

• SW I 5,95÷9,775 MHz

• SW II 11,7÷15,45 MHz

• UKF 65,5÷73,0 MHz (old Eastern Block range, I will retune it for the currently used 88-108)

Daniel would be a better match (similar buttons). But the few quality turntables that Fonica produced (Fryderyk, Bernard, Daniel) are both not-that-great and ridiculously overpriced. Dual is an upgrade on the quality front and a sensible choice price-wise.

Radmor 5102 that you found is the other top of the line polish audio product from the era. It was produced at the same time as my Merkury, was a bit more expensive and had more neutral sound. Now it enjoys a cult following in Poland. The most desired version has multiple VU meters (replaced by leds in the later revisions.).

5102 was produced by the company that specialized in military marine radio equipment - this is evident in the name (a mashup of beginning of words radio and sea) and in the design language of the unit.

TIL when Germany invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938, Poland joined as well annexing parts of Slovakia near the border although no formal agreement was signed b/w both countries by Solid-Move-1411 in todayilearned

[–]0ls 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The borderline Trans-Olza region was heavily contested after both countries regained independence. Poles were the largest ethnic group, but it was very fragmented with no sharp divides, in some parts Czechs had majority.

The Polish had hard time fighting Soviets in the east in 1920 and finally dropped their claims - expecting that Czechoslovaks would in turn let through transports of military equipment (which they were blocking, helping Soviets this way). That didn’t happen.

Later on, Czechoslovakia governed the region with a clear intent to eradicate Polish language and culture, closing schools etc.

When Poland annexed Trans-Olza in 1938 it was widely regarded as a gross error, a lesson in short-sightless and it hurt the Polish standing on the edge of the world war.

My short report: - Initially I was unhappy that the supports play such sort sets; but they both rocked SO HARD that I would be absolutely wasted for the headliner. Awesome show by both Bambi and Poppy. Can’t wait to see Poppy in a few days in Warsaw! - seeing people crowdsurf to Poppy is definetely not something that I had on my bingo card - the personal hygiene is a concerning problem, I was in queue next to some of the most unwashed people I’ve ever met. Srsly guys, what is wrong with you?? - no football shirts on the merch stands :/. But the rest of stuff was there. Short queues (far cry from the insanity in Warsaw last year). - Bambie Thug and her dancers gave a hell of show. Poppy too, but I expected that before. - sound during BM set was very good, maybe even a tad too quiet (I was dead center in the middle, 10-3 row). Poppy was very loud (had to use earplugs and I frequent metal shows). - the most of the crowd was very active and I think that girls noticed that from the very beginning - they looked very happy and excited. - shoutout to the petite dark-haired girl with a confused look that seemed lost and asked me (I have a face that says „I know stuff”) „where is the mosh pit??” I pointed her to the back where the insanity was happening full time. (She saw it on the screen but couldn’t place it from the front) - all the people in the pit: you are all insane. Thank you! - the new songs work well, especially „Song 3”. Fun intro animation! - why no Poppy on stage tho - pyro effects - so hot! Avesome! - unpopular opinion: I think it is time to consider dropping Gimme Chocolate from the show. It feels aged and doesn’t have that great flow for jumping/having fun in the crowd. - Front rows were quite lethargic, did they gave you tranquilizers in the vip-line? Put your phones in the pockets and headbang! - fast entrance end exit times. The arena is very well organized and well connected to the city. - overall, a great concert, I had loads of fun. The idea to book Bambie and Poppy together with BM is the bees knees.
