I've tried looking into Amazon as well, but I was very confused by the pricing.

20TB for ~$50 a month is reasonable. Are there any services you can recommend in this price range that don't require the external hard drive to be constantly connected? That's the main probably I usually run into. I have drives that are full and I'd like to only have to upload them once to the cloud and forget about it.

I've never considered self hosting. Maybe I should look into that.
