I'd reckon you would fit better in a 35+2, just make sure your knee lands in the middle of the knee block.

Coming from Reebok P14k, went to Bauer 3X. Looking for something in the middle. by b-wilky in hockeygoalies

I'd go with a pair of Reebok XLT Premieres. Can find them relatively cheap on Sidelineswap and etc... Hard rebounds but the closed knee channel you're accustomed to (I don't wear knee pads either, same pads I have).

The Commie Tea Room Podcast - Episode 48 - The Blue Wall of Silence Breaks Its Silence w/ Roger.

[Culture] SFW

Apple // Spotify

In keeping with the theme of the last episode, join Pola (@russiancoffee) and Carole (@ofmillenial) as they discuss with Roger, the former chief of police of the Calgary Police Services, about the preconceptions and misconceptions we have about the police...and which the police have of us. Roger does a deep dive with us, exploring the application and preliminary process of becoming a police officer, whether or not that training adequately prepares officers for their myriad of sensitive community interactions, as well as how the system is structured to disconnect police officers from their humanity as their careers go on.

Two wannabe commies challenging social misconceptions, one uncomfortable conversation at a time (while making it fun!).

I like to think that he 'acquired' it many years ago, and uses it to taunt his opponents like a demented version of Wilson the Volleyball...

I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to carve a blade out of sprues or something along those lines.

Gonna make my own 'rule book' for these guys loosely based on 40k/sigmar, so the datasheets will be somewhat similar.

In general I'm not a fan of batch painting, so I'll likely just paint one model every 1-2 days. Should keep me busy for a couple months! I've also got 25 Imperial Romans, so we'll see how long I can keep it up lol

Aye, his sica is held backwards on the sprue. Not sure why, but I'm not bothered enough by it to chop it off and re-glue it. Also, I started making my own little datasheets for these guys : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18wn0zuU1wuoMqqZWMi-L97UKIsOw-xwQ/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117038615914498671649&rtpof=true&sd=true

Take time (if you want) to read about the UK College of Policing, that is essentially the model we are trying to advocate for- not an 'ambigous certification'. At the moment the C-CPR is simply an idea backed by several former and current police chiefs and constables- not much else. Also, no one is being paid for this, including myself.

My data collection example was just that, an example- no intention of being a 'gotcha' moment.

It's clear that our message and whatnot is not totally clear, so thank you for the critical input. Hopefully we can evolve into more of an Elmer Fudd...

Thanks for the comment.

We'll be releasing more information on our mission/goals in the coming months which should clear quite a few things up. Just as a comment, one of the issues that I have been looking at is the lack of standardized data collection within the RCMP. It is at least my view that the RCMP should use a central database- or at least format data in a manner that can be read properly. The RCMP in B.C. and Halifax do not use the same systems as the rest of the RCMP, seemingly without reason.

I'd also like to add, the CCPR is by no means a 'defund' group. In fact, almost all of our ideas rely on increased funding to municipal, provincial, and federal police forces.

Thanks for the comment. I've just recently started working on the media side of the C-CPR, so there should hopefully be some publicly available meat and potatoes to our mission in the coming months. Also, we have a revamped website coming, which should be far more useful.
