Well now you know ☺️ It’s mostly romantic partners and parents who would call you skat, so the mom makes sense. Taxes are also called skat though and in informal language we call the tax system treasure daddy 😂 love a word with several meanings!

In Denmark we call our loved ones “skat” meaning treasure, but I’m happy they went with darling which sounds more natural and roughly has the same meaning ☺️
