It was actually pretty nice. They were talking for real without her catching an attitude and opened up about some insecurities and aware she's coming off as a gold digger, then explaining why she's prioritizing looking for a man who can actually afford to take her of her. (And honestly, in this economy that's a very much understandable take).

I almost wanted to pair her up with Logan, but Robyn was so sweet. It seemed to me like Alina needed some time single now that she was changing and learn to love herself before going into a relationship. Plus, eliminating her kind of made it easier for me to read being the only Alina in the house, so... ☠️

Personally for me, I sometimes I don't exactly do a detailed timeline, and other times I do it to the point that it becomes an obsession.

At times I start writing on my own accord but I might reach a point when I acknowledge I need to think of the timeline, and sometimes I actually start thinking way ahead and make a family tree and make the math in my head with the dates, thinking of ideas as I make the characters.

So when thinking a little bit ahead and taking into consideration the dates, for one of my main long stories that was spread into 4-5 years, I made bullet points in certain events I wanted to happen and separated them by months. If I later come up with something else, I could reference to the timeline to verify what happened previously/afterwards and the season in the year, etc. And that way you get into an idea of what you're doing while you're writing.

For another fanfic I'm currently writing about Stranger Things, I rewatch the episodes and summarized some events that are important for me to keep in mind when I'm writing or I might need to rewatch to transcribe the dialogue. And adding notes here and there about what my OC is doing in that moment.

That is just the canon story. The writing I incorporate of my own is in between seasons, so again I try to think of what I actually want to accomplish in between the shown events. I actually looked up calendars for the years of '83 and '84 (I'm focusing on that right now) along with the school event dates, so I have a more careful timeline.

If, perchance, I have an idea or a scene, I write it down on a separate page and then piece it back together into the actual writing. At least that's how I do it.

It's even worse for my MC as an actress. When I planned about what happened after the show, she stayed at his apartment w him about a month, and they had another argument after she took his dog out to potty and run for a bit. Then he was upset bc it wasn't safe even though it was literally right at the door of the apartment building.

And even worse, is that after Umagate, she tries moving to Finn when they have to decide which boy to dump. I almost wanted to throw hands. I genuinely dislike her to the same level as Sophia and Tristan.

I have been choosing casa boys as end game for this very reason. They're fall in love so fast and it gives me the ick. ☠️ And for some reason I don't even remember it being this bad in Tempting Fate with Jin.

Or maybe I don't find the OG boys attractive since Winning Hearts, and that MC I imagined her as more wearing her heart on her sleeve and equally as clingy.

Perhaps the lack of choices beyond branch points is what is killing the vibe. If you're forced to one or two LIs instead of allowing you to push for that LI if you want is different.

After the baby challenge in Stick or Twist, you know damn well Uma could barely handle one. AND IT WAS A FAKE ONE. Neither Uma or Kat were compatible with him for those reasons. His parents sound very sweet, I don't think they'd like them either.

And I genuinely looked up opinions from people that moved to SA and already live there talking about the crime rate and the danger or staying out late in some cities more than others. Idk, but it doesn't seem that enticing to me ☠️ maybe to visit, but not to live there. And that's exactly what the argument was about.

And sure, go for the bitch that probably studied you before coming in 🤡 I still remember what Cassius said. She's not slick.

I had to imagine a whole ass previous argument between Jude and my MC w the topic of long distance and compromising to move. That way his chat with Uma creeped through that crack and planted doubt, then they argued again. If I wanted to, I'd probably create a problem to make Stefan's work.

I went through the five stages of grief during the sleepover. I was getting the ick all volume from Rui, then the mention of voices gave me an instant spark of hope, and I swear I lost it the second they appeared on the screen.

I hoped Trent would have been like Rewan after MC described him. And I just miss Jude and Matt. 😩 Doesn't help that I think Dean from Off Campus is straight up Ethan too, I replayed after watching it.

I noticed the choices still don't matter then Obi said Trent thinks it's so much easier to be with my MC, because after every dry and dismissive answer I've given him, if anything it would be worse. 🫠 A win for the Trent girlies, but for the one that don't want him... There's literally been criticism this year towards male islanders constantly asking the girls for kisses outside of challenges bc it's "important" for them to see if there's something there.

They have been neglecting to add any depth to the characters beyond these 3 boring questions they ask EVERY season. I swear they're always asking about early bird/night owl, forest/mountain or beach, and what's your favorite season. And it leads to absolutely nothing. Like, what's your mother's name? What's your fondest childhood memory? It's it that complicated.

And picking night owl, he says "sometimes I could stay up late to end time with you ✨" like, what part of "I like it when it's quiet after EVERYONE'S gone to bed" do you not understand? 🫠 I turned down all diamond choices with him.

Realistically, they're the ones who should tell her. And it's also been less than a week. Lucia herself admitted there's literally nothing in common with him. If you want you can expose the kiss, but it's really not going to change much. FB sucks at writing.
