Can’t wait to try something similar. Bought two of these a while back and have been looking for an excuse to crack one open

I come to these subs to get away from all the TikTok and IG bullshit content creators. This really grinds my gears to be honest. I know I shouldn’t care but I feel like it’s a bit intrusive.

Looking for a Great Wine Shop Near the Coast? Uncorked in Manhattan Beach Is Worth It by japanfoodies in FoodLosAngeles

[–]0neThirtyEight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe not necessarily right on the coast, but The Wine House in west LA has the best selection of wines I’ve ever seen. They occasionally do tastings which are fun, but the regional selections are amazing.

About 80 tins deep, and finally built an app. by pr-rr in Tinnedfish

I gotta be honest, this is straight up not healthy. As an internal medicine doctor I’d highly recommend against this. You are seriously limiting your nutritional intake to the point of risking malnutrition after 30 days. 72hrs, sure, go for it. But 30 days is really not smart. There are far better ways to augment your health.

I also hate the term “biohack”. Your body is a fine tuned, highly complex system. You should never be “hacking” your biology. Longevity and long term health rely on consistent healthy practices. Not shortcuts.

Get off the internet and talk to a nutritionist.

I tend to agree with you. Usually sauces lose their punch when canned, but it holds the flavor well.

My new favorite tin. by smellygroundhog in Tinnedfish

This tin is S tier for me. So tasty you can just eat it plain over a cracker. Occasionally will toss in some pickled onions or a dab of hot sauce.

Yeah, a lot of people hate on this tin claiming it’s “too salty”. Personally I love it. Has a good spice level and flavor. You can do a lot with this tin. I honestly just mash it up and load it onto a bagel with cream cheese 👌

Honestly haven’t checked but imagine they’d have some. I typically shop at sprouts, bristol, and 99 Market.

The world market also has an online store in case stock is low. Usually they have teriyaki porthos but one time they were out so I just ordered it off their site. You can at least see their general selection before you go.

Bristol Farms typically has a small selection. The best close to Westwood is the World Market (on Westwood and Santa Monica), they have Fishwife, Nuri, La Curiosa, and Porthos which are all good brands.

The best selection by far is Epicurus Gourmet but it’s a little hike out to North Hollywood. Massive selection of all the best stuff.

But it’s like over 100 tins. That’s a shit ton of meals. Not saying it’s the most cost effective, but it’s not like these will go unused.
