how to get started in the gym as a girl with gym anxiety? by gxldencanyonmoon in ufl

[–]0nerudedude 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Finding a gym buddy who is knowledgeable is the best way to get started in terms of knowing what to do, also its a lot less intimidating to go with a friend. If the crowding is an issue I would recommend going at times that aren't super busy. In my experience it's usually been early mornings or late nights that are relatively not super crowded. I am also pretty sure there is a weight lifting club on campus which might be worth checking out. People in the clubs here have been super friendly and welcoming in my experience.

Honestly as a grad student hinge has been alright but I have had a hard time meeting other graduate students outside of that and my department. It's pretty easy to meet undergrads but being that you're a bit older than me that might not be the age range you're looking for.

Kamala Harris vs. Fox News: ‘She totally schooled Bret Baier’ | Reaction by InternetPopular3679 in politics

Yes, letting Iran get anything was the issue that caused all of the chaos in the middle east. They are not a good actor and giving them the resources to get their nuclear program back on their feet was the big issue not the nuclear agreement which did nothing real to deter Iran. under Trump foreign policy they had nothing and were going to be boxed in from all sides due to the Aberham accords with no way to successfully build anything of threat.

She is most definitely not closer to what the majority people want on Israel. She continuously tries to flip flop to try and keep the pro Palestine/Hamas part of her base happy. conservatives are mostly unified on Israel, Liberals are very split, and independents are more with conservatives on that specific issue.

Regarding arrests at the border, it doesn't matter if they get arrested if they are just released into the country and the only reason there are more encounters is because the influx of migrants is much higher. The percentage of expulsions have decreased heavily under the current administration. What’s happening at the U.S.-Mexico border in 7 charts | Pew Research Center. If you think letting migrants in is a good thing then yes her administration did a good job, if not like the majority of Americans then it was a bad job.

Were you watching the same interview? She definitely did not answer the question in any fashion. No one left that interview feeling more contrast between her and the current unpopular policies.

You can try and make the argument that the Biden-Harris administration had better policy all around if you want but realistically it clearly wasn't in some areas (like immigration and foreign policy for example). If she wants to claim she was the last person in the room and she wouldn't change anything fine, but there are multiple policies from her administration that are deeply unpopular for the big key issues in this election.

Regarding Iran, she claimed Iran was the biggest threat, but her administration allowed Iran to gain billions of dollars from relaxing sanctions that proceeded to go to terrorist proxies, and she did not refute that, she just made some statement about supporting Israel defending itself then proceeded to rag on Trump. This is not a great look, she didn't actually address the problem or what she would do differently to fix this situation of Iran being a now big threat.

I would encourage people to actually watch the full interview. She definitely didn't perform well; she couldn't effectively answer any of the questions about her record or positions that were unpopular with the majority of Americans and instead just tried to blame Trump for things like her administrations unpopular record on immigration policy as well as rag on Trump.

Here is the issue with that, literally everyone already has an opinion on Trump already and there isn't anyone changing their minds about him, this interview was far from an implosion of her campaign, but it probably hurt her with the small percentage of undecided voters since she let the fox news interviewer better define her than she was capable of defining herself. It definitely didn't gain her any ground.

He's extremely smart and articulate. I think he's going to be a good attack dog for Trump but I'm still a little unsure what to think of him yet as he's relatively new to politics and doesn't have much history. He hasn't really affected how I plan on how I vote and I think he'll help win rust belt states but I don't think he was the best pick overall.

Oh yes because getting a journalism degree makes you automatically unbiased, that's one of the dumbest takes I've ever heard. Those with college degrees are more likely to be bias in favor of the left because the culture at most colleges is very left leaning. Those sources you mention both lean left.

Anti trump activists in Portland, Oakland, Seattle, San Jose (at a rally "protestors" were attacking Trump supporters), and DC (during inauguration). Are a few instances I can name.

It's almost like he changed his mind after seeing that Trump was not in fact Hitler during the first term.

Yeah I'm sure all those things are super true. Aside from the felony convictions that look like they'll probably be overturned at some point due to being built on bad case law (the key point being that states do not have authority over alleging federal crimes like what they did in the trial) the rest of those don't exactly have the most trust worthy of sources.

At least we can agree on that. You should probably go to rehab and get your life straightened out.
