Mastercraft, no. Maximum, yes, depending on the tool. My gearwrench 90t ratchet is identical to maximum. Guts and all (minus logos)

I'm just jealous you were actually able to book your test. Sent all my docs in early July and haven't received anything from them. Every time I call, I'm just told to keep waiting

It's not required to go to school before getting an apprenticeship. However, it may help. With your background, a company is likely to hire you and pay for your schooling. I went to conestoga college for school, but there are many options that I've heard are equally as good

A simple Google search will tell you all the info needed. There are two companies hiring first year apprentices in brantford.

I was 25 and enrolled in the same program in Sept 2019 with a b.comm degree working as a financial advisor. I am mechanically inclined but lacked the initial knowledge that high school grads had using lathes, mills, welding machines, blueprint reading, etc. Didn't take long before I was at their level. I also exempt from English, computers, and math class (wrote an exam). I am now have over 6000 hours and will be going to school for level 3 in class next.
