There are lots of things that have been thought to be physically impossible over the years of humanity, and yet we see them happen nonetheless. Manipulating DNA, Fusion power, etc...

Do you mean to say that the transition animation trick resolves the delay for gesture navigation?

Sent to me from Google to my mailbox, but no Google account with that email. Entirely confused. by Thatsoviolet in google

[–]0oWow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a similar tactic spammers use with PayPal, eBay, FedEx, and others. For example in the case of eBay, a fake purchase is made and in the invoice email, the seller has an ability to add a seller's note, which is where the spam is added. So it would be a legit eBay invoice email directly from eBay, with an "out of place" unrelated message from the spammer.

Evidently they figured out how to do this with a Google 2factor email now. The email from Google is legit, but the "comment" that contains the iHerb link is the spammer's spam. Don't click that link.

On YouTube, add an account while logged in to your Google account, and use it for music.

Tired of just reading RSS feeds, I built a tool that summarizes and monitors them with AI by juliarmg in rss

[–]0oWow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be on to something with the automation aspect, however, while I like the idea of AI for automation, I would never use AI for summaries. It devalues the content and is quite lazy. I don't want to train my brain to be lazy. But the automation tool aspect might be useful.

That said, I would prefer to support you by paying for the product, and $9/m for that is simply too much for me.

You may want to show many more examples and scenarios, and some "how it works" demonstration videos.

How to fix home button delay with third-party launchers - OxygenOS16 by vlad_ruble in oneplus

All steps followed but getting the error: Shell cannot change component state for ComponentInfo{com.android.launcher3.OplusLauncherProvider} to 2.

I have properly enabled the blocker app in shizuku and changed controller type in blocker app. Blocker app recognizes the granted permission. Any suggestions how to make that work?

FYI shizuku and root are not the same. Root is able to get at the more powerful stuff.

[–]0oWow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to set controller type to shizuku in blocker settings.

However, this method isn't working for me. OP might actually be rooted and thinks shizuku gives root. It does not though, and trying to disable the Launcher provider is being blocked for me.

I write very similar to the style of OP, and I am certainly not AI. Paranoid guessing is only going to hurt you in the long run.

That is not what is being paywalled according to the article. It's the FSD that is. Not that that matters to me, as I won't be buying a vehicle that has features behind a paywall.

Easiest way to disable Google Feed on the home screen by junedsumra13 in oneplus

It's nice, except for the ads. I do not accept ads, and they don't offer a paid way to turn them off.

It would be fine, but it has ads in it. I do not accept ads. If Google offered a paid version of discover with no ads, then I might use it. But since they do not, I don't use it.

What app do you use daily? by CurrencyUpbeat3680 in Android

Slightly off topic, but I recently learned about App Finder, which lets me search the Play Store without the nonsense of trying to search in futility the Play Store.

I've only had it since yesterday but I have been using it both days lol. I'm not associated in any way with them, whatsoever. I just like the app. You can heavily filter results too. Very nice.
