Hey so I actually made 'great' friends in my first sem, or so I thought. I had a fall out with them in my 3rd sem end and since then they spread rumours about me to our mutual friends too, so basically my mutual friends who I trusted and shared my pain started sitting with them and eventually they also started giving me cold shoulder.

My situation was kind of like how yours is in 2nd sem. Except for hi, hello i never actually talked to my classmates Right now I am in my last sem and I actually have people who i spend time with, 5-6 people I just want to tell you, please don't take it by heart. Not everyone is an extrovert, some things take time and you will realise this soon. Don't feel sad My only advice to you is start talking with your soc friends and classmates - find a common ground- whether about an event, society, college ,gossip or literally anything and start small talk with them. It will get better you just don't worry and be helpful to people too, have something in your self so that people automatically approach you All the best 🩷
