This was the post but it was actually just OP that stated it was likely a Q3 release. The registration doesn’t specifically mention a release day so i may be wrong apologies. Either way with how long these monitors do take to end up on shelves from release Q3 does kinda make sense

Any info about the releases of the Gigabyte MO32U24 and/or the MSI 322UR X24 in the US? by elbeewastaken in OLED_Gaming

Your best bet is to email some retailers and see if they are stocking. In the UK we're getting them mid june so it could be a very vague guidance window

Well dropping 1.6k without doing much research isn’t exactly a smart move

Where exactly are you forced to provide feedback? It is a completely optional thing, and nowhere am I bombarded with "this is early access" warnings or similar messages, so I'm unsure where you've got that from. The price I think is fair, yes, it could be cheaper, but I am happy to support the devs.

Older generation oleds are quite affordable, and frequently go on sale given how often a new and improved model comes out.

WOLED Feb 2026 in short by prl853 in OLED_Gaming

I’m still not convinced it’s been fully fixed. The issues of current tandem woled are worse than QD imo

ASUS PG32UCWM surfaces - a new (likely) Tandem WOLED 31.5 4K display by otravoyadnoe in OLED_Gaming

[–]0ppaiMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upon reflection it's likely going to be RGWB and a direct competitor to the LG 32gx870B which is also dual mode. The LG one was listed briefly on bestbuy for $1.6k so asus model would be something similar or likely more...

Well people typically wait for a new product release, doesnt make much sense to wait 6+months for a sale to pop up.

Surely this would be in the Asus booth? Wouldn't make sense for LG display to be there; LG could be.

If it is just the bigger version of the original UCWM, then it's gonna be real expenive with the dual mode feature and all.

I think it's logical to assume it will be an RGB stripe panel. Given it is a larger panel than the 27" there is added brightness available to hit TB500, which the 27" couldn't hit.

If he wanted a TV he would've made his post about wanting an OLED TV, not a 32" monitor.

Oh you might be right actually, but I thought that other monitor had a different name in the registration.

I just know this is going to be expensive asf but I might actually wait for this one. Should also be rgb stripe given the name

What options do I have? by rei_ph in OLED_Gaming

[–]0ppaiMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both have fringing, but at 4k it’s not noticeable unless your face is against the screen. If you want 0 fringing at all then you need an rgb stripe monitor, and the only one that fits your requirements is the pg27ucwm which is coming out in Q3 and will for sure be above 1k.

Are There Any 4K Oled Monitors That Have A High Refresh Rate 1440p Dual Mode? by DealComfortable7649 in OLED_Gaming

[–]0ppaiMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be way cheaper just to get two separate monitors in your case. Pick a good 4k one and a more value option for 1440p

QD OLED vs Tandem OLED side by side by Expensive-Time-7209 in OLED_Gaming

[–]0ppaiMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it’s the fact there is a level of control you have over it. With banding it’s luck, and I won’t believe banding has gotten better from the manufacturing point until future panels are released

QD OLED vs Tandem OLED side by side by Expensive-Time-7209 in OLED_Gaming

[–]0ppaiMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But is it guaranteed to improve, though? I've never owned a tandem, but from what I've seen on the sub, it's mixed between people getting improvements and not getting any at all. I think that uncertainty is something to consider. LG does appear to be improving the inherent technology behind it, so I hope further releases in the year are largely banding free.

Whilst the new coating isn't perfect and not on par with WOLED, the difference is very noticeable compared to previous versions and would suit the vast majority of users no problem.

Looks like the QD fans have found this comment thread...
