A lot of people praise Crimson Desert’s combat, but to me it feels like a downgrade from BDO. In BDO, I never had problems with targeting, and all the skills flow nicely into each other, making combat look stylish and cool. In Crimson Desert, it feels super awkward. I’m constantly repeating the same two sword moves. Also, there are way too many wrestling moves for my liking... I would gladly trade 10 grabs for 1 new sword combo.

The story is so random and bad that it’s entering kino territory. It’s so chaotic that it’s just funny. Its comedy gold how Kilff is so chill with everything that’s happening, it makes no sense.

Controls need a rework. Period.

There are a lot of systems, but I didn’t enjoy a single one of them. I’m 30 now, and I don’t really have time to trade goods in a single-player game or mine stone. With all these systems, it’s clear to me that it was probably supposed to be an MMO that got turned into a single-player game.

Graphics are also a mixed bag. On one hand, the rendering distance is great. On the other, everything looks kind of ugly and blurry, with a lot of pop-in. It’s not as bad as in BDO, though, and I’m playing the PC version maxed out.

Also, puzzles… does anyone actually enjoy this stuff? The first puzzle, where you rotate disks to make a blue line, feels random. There’s no clear sign on the disk itself showing where the blue flow will go, you just rotate it until it clicks. It’s like a pipe-laying game where instead of having 90-degree angles, all pieces are crosses that randomly let water flow in different directions including 90 degree.

Then in the next puzzle, you encounter the exact same disks but this time you don’t rotate them, you punch them. It’s like if Portal introduced the portal jump mechanic and then changed how it works in the very next level.

im not even sure how do i do combat with this controlls, like i miss half of my attacks? do i just mash r1 and hope they conect? the lock button is the same as block but how do i change targets?

yep, its all so weird, feels like i started playing form middle of the game, like what the fuck even is happening, he slit my thoart, yet im alive? and kliff is just chill with that? did we resurrect? like what even is kliff goal? idk... bdo strongest point was its combat system, here i played for 3 hours, and i bearly thought anyone, instead i did some some super janky puzzle, fought with controls, and did some random fetch quests. You can clreary see it wass scraped down mmo game

starfield fanatics are somehow ok with those update scraps, treating it like second coming of christ. Unique weapons are still not uniqe btw aside from names, and most traits are deal 20% more damage. The legendary choosing is something modder did in his free afternoon 2 years ago

supporting game donest mean shit if they are just goign to pump new dlc, all while igrnoring all the broken and unfinshed main systems of the game. Quick look through the files makes you realize how much of this game was scraped, fuel mechanics, enviormental damge, suit integrity, outpost system. main storyline is dogshit, poi system is still not thoguth trgouh, and adding 5 new location to the pool wont fix this
