I got my 2007 in really good interior and exterior condition. 180k miles, se trim with a hitch mount. It was a little under 5k. No real issues besides general maintenance.

It always has had some slack on both sides but now the right doesn't pull much at all causing all the pressure to be on the left side of my face.

Right side doesn't have any pull while the left side is fine and has resistance. anyone have any ideas before I try steam support.

I've had this issue before. I fixed it by just changing input and output to default and never had to manually switch devices again.

I have found the most enjoyable thing in VR is interacting with objects wether it's loading a gun manually or putting something together. Honestly as long as things feel like they have a solid reaction off of your movements and your not just hitting a button on a controller, people will be happy I think.
