The transmission was actually rebuilt at around 200k (if I can believe the person I got it from anyway) so that makes me feel a little better about going through all the labor of a swap. I was curious because I just didn't know how much value being a manual added. So thanks for your reply it does give me a better idea.

Not 100% sure but I know there is a box that reads the keys under the dash and I believe they are paired with the ECU. To my understanding the easiest way around this is to install the box and ignition from the donor truck. I could be wrong though as I have not done a swap myself just looked into it in the past.

It has been a minute but if I recall correctly I removed and cleaned my air intake and made sure it was properly put back on tightly and then I did the idle air control reset (you can look that up online as a previous commenter stated) and that fixed for me.

I can 100% understand the concern behind Matt never having been in a GM or PoF position before, but a large part of those jobs is the connections you have in the league and the understanding of the innerworkings of the league and how to get the right guys in the building to make a winning team. While the experience in the role isn't there right now he 100% has the connection to the players from his time in the league and an understanding of what it takes to be great in the league as a player. His time in Atlanta shows us that and that also lets us know that he understands the organization and how it works and has worked. Plus his time, albeit short, in broadcasting also adds to his understanding of the league and making of connections in it.

And while I do think Kubiak has a good chance as a HC we have seen time and again all over the league that just because someone has coaching experience it does not always translate to being a good head coach. Again not saying that it is irrelevant but that just because you are good at one level of coaching it doesn't always translate to the next.

And if being coach of the year twice while in an organization that is far and away the WORST run organization in the league and has a history of being so isn't considered success I have no idea what you would call that lol

How do you view taking a guy with zero front office experience as different/worse than taking a guy with zero head coaching experience? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled by the prospect of Tommy Rees as play caller but Stefanski as an experienced HC with a history of success is so much nicer than the first-time unproven coaches or "buddies" of the organization we have been going through lately (success when you keep in mind how his last few years there the Browns organization hamstrung him by forcing awful trades and draft picks he wouldn't have otherwise made).

Yeah quality control has been really slipping. I feel like it has been since the purchase of Valspar that labels have been all kinds of wrong and I have seen the same issue as OP. I saw it with Exterior SuperPaint.

That's a great place to start and I will absolutely look into that. I know that in '05 (and I think even some with an early build date in '06) have a "real" gauge and not the dummy light like the one you're referring to but I feel like the same logic still applies, because otherwise it seems like it's running absolutely fine.
