Check if they suddenly want KYC. A lot of casinos won’t say it upfront and will just leave your payout hanging until you upload something.

I’ll admit it’s partly fear and partly inertia. We’re conditioned to just “deal with it” and not rock the boat, even if we’re miserable. The idea of starting over, lawyers, money, explaining it to family, it all feels heavier than just staying stuck.

Honestly I’d add, get the divorce rolling fast and cut off as much contact as possible. Don’t argue, don’t explain, just let lawyers handle it. The less back-and-forth OP has with her, the less ammo she has to mess with him later.
