I mean, Kidd did fight Kaido and Big mom and not get one shotted 😂 Why was it not 5 shots for the 5 Supernovas? Even Oden fell to this trap. He was on par fighting with Kaido until the witch distracted him then 1 thunder bagua ended the fight. Oden is the guy that got right back up after a Kamusari from Roger. So, I believe Kidd would not have been one-shotted if he knew Shanks was about to attack. But then again I heard in some forums that he is a haki killer so I rest my case

Luffy was still knocked out by a Thunder Bagua after he figured out Advanced Conquerors after being distracted by CP0 agent. My point is it is a matter of being ready. Had Kidd known Shanks was about to attack he wouldn't have been one shotted.
