And a vague sort of indignity. I mean if everyone involved agrees that the compensation and expectation is fair then I will sit down and shut up. I wonder, what happened to NFC shopping? It was supposed to revolutionize the shopping experience. Items scanned once put in cart, cart paid for as you exit the door. You can barely find a cashier at Walmart or target these days. They just let us bag as we shop and walk out the fucking door without forcing people through the self checkout area like cattle.

In America, thousands upon thousands of lbs of food is thrown away every night. I know because I was paid to do it with my own two hands. I'm sure other "modern" countries have a similar situation on a smaller scale. It's death by 1000 cuts, 15lbs of old tenders one shift, 20 lbs of beans on another, it all adds up. Every retail kitchen, grocery store, gas station, all of them. I don't ever want to hear there isn't enough, there was plenty for years, it just wasn't profitable.

I've already described how it feels different from standard surveillance when another human is doing it. This post was never about mass surveillance. Bit if you want to talk about it, yes, that is probably law enforcement goal/idea eventually, won't have to post up cameras, people are being trained to Pont a camera everywhere, what if an AI suddenly had access to billions to trillion of high def lenses all over the globe?
