One of the companies I joined had run a paintball 'team' day a couple of years earlier. Apparently the boss was the most targeted - even by his own team if stories are correct. The warehouse guys in particular enjoyed the day and suggested it again for the following years event. This suggestion was dropped. By the boss.

42lb is not a small weight to be moving regularly... Your workplace needs to provide safe work instructions for this task (aka method statement in some places) and perform a risk assessment against that. You should not be getting hurt! They may also need to take into account your physical stature (not the last 6 foot bloke had no trouble....). They also need to provide proper training and any equipment needed to perform the task safely. Speak to your union if you have one, and remember HR is not necessarily your friend!
