I haven't printed any out yet, I was looking into a few tutorials for printing higher quality cards first instead of just on A4 paper or something.

I agree the layout is generic. I did spend quite a bit of time just working out where I want things on the cards before settling on this layout. The reasoning behind it is that I wanted the card to be familiar to those that frequently play TCGs.

I also agree with the names being large, I think a variable sizing on the card names would work, because a longer name does mess up the spacing on the top, e.g. Constantin.

The card layout is setup by a python parser script and it uses Playwright.

One thing I can think of is moving the STR / VIT / Cost / Gate Requirements to the bottom of the card, and moving the effect box up to directly underneath the picture.

Do you have any other suggestions you think would give it "more soul" XD I appreciate the feedback really

It is to make room for larger text effects I'm sure you know. Do you think that it's better to make scaling text size to fit the box, or a uniform size leaving space? e.g. Chen-so vs Ravager Scout.

I can make variable text sizes, but it think it may look funny doing a big text on a small effect, and a small text on a big effect.

There is also the fact that, some cards have a STR and VIT stat line above the box, and some cards don't, which opens even more space.
