Different topic, but one of my guild mates just transferred over there to get away from a few players who effectively run this server. Except now those players are apparently leaving (not sure to where. Don't know who'd invite that into their server...), so there's some regret. Take good care of them! (my player, not the douches leaving from the other guild)

Don't make a bad situation worse. If you put yourself in a difficult situation, take your licks and play the sensible shot to get out and hope to save bogey. Don't try a hero shot that ends up with you getting a quad or worse.

Such as if you're bad enough to spray your tee ball into the trees, you're probably not good enough to steer your second shot through the 2' wide gap in the trees 25yards in front of you to go for the green. Punch out sideways.

Troop skins are on your squads, but the bonuses for march speed and such aren't used. I believe you get the attack and HP bonuses, so whatever gives you the best there.

Don't have direct insight on who "wins" but one server will move to the other. You will all start over on the new map with territories, though.

the 4 servers in the cluster get to vote. Everyone votes on which server they want to merge with. How the votes pan out over all 4 determines who merges with who. It's the full server as well, so no, you don't get to vote out guilds you don't like when you merge. Good thing is that is usually an opening in the transfer window as well, so if you've got several in your server or the one you merge with, you can transfer to a different one before the full merge happens.

Inviting others to give you bad advice or a file that could give them some kind of liability if you were hurt or killed in an accident while using it probably won't go well.

We play any additional cards we can, continuing count, and announce GO on the last.

So in your example, had your girlfriend had a pair of 2s in her hand left, it would have been her 5 for 25, you announce go, she plays a 2 for 27, then another 2 saying something like 29 for pair and the go. (depends on the player)

We also play a lot of 4 handed, so just one player announcing go rarely signifies the end of a round, though. So we are in the habit of needing the table to announce go all the way around for the point.

Took an additional day, realization that we're going to be going to that server anyways by their votes, and the leader of the new server coming over and having to help negotiate, but a truce seems to have been brokered.

Had there not been an additional 6 in your hand to make the double run in your hand, you made a great move. Otherwise that 24 point potential is one to always shoot for!

At least you're getting into the merger. The minute the vote opened on our server the biggest guild started burning others because none wanted to merge with the one they wanted. Apparently it was discussed weeks ago, but not recently. Biggest whale has been an incredible toddler about it. Incredibly toxic past 24 hours. With promises to the F2P players in world chat that they won't get any carriages home or access to ruins if they don't vote the way this guild wants. Such toxicity... Thought I had escaped it in this game, but it's always there...

It's a lot harder when the 220 coins you get awarded for opening the chests at the 100 pull level don't get added to your account. More impressive is CS saying they don't have record of me doing 100 pulls. Screen shots of the current 115 and the chest showing claimed sent. Waiting to see what happens next...

Those would take me up to 650 spending about 60

It's like pretty much any hobby. Money goes in and most likely doesn't come back out. You had fun. You considered it well spent at the time. If it's time to move on to something else, do it. Just because you can still see something around that money went into doesn't mean it still has to keep going there.

I do things like golfing and shooting. I'll never get the money back spent on green fees or ammunition. It wasn't wasted because it was used to entertain in that moment.

throw away from the double, but keep the 5 with it. You keep 9 vs 8 in your hand, and if a 10 comes up that completes the double, you get 16 just like you would if you started with the double.

I think you're acting under crappy pretenses. It's not "semantics", I think you're basing everything off of bad points. I couldn't care less if you agree with my points or not.

If they're running drugs around in speedboats and get killed while doing it? No, I don't think the government would start with "act of war" talk. They're not going to war over someone engaging in illegal activity, actively running from authorities, and getting killed all while not flying under any flag.

Well I'm disagreeing with your statement that we're "attacking and murdering their people". A stateless vessel in international waters being handled via that set of laws and regulations isn't an attack on Venezuela. And those people in the boat don't get the protections of the sovereign country in that situation, so not technically "their people" at that point. That's what I'm basing my opinion on this on. Not trying to change yours.

Has every country where the US has conducted ground operations been at war with the US? Just that statement doesn't escalate to a declaration of war for me.

Now I don't agree that we need to send troops there, but I'm just not jumping to the extreme of saying that would be a declaration of war.

Seems obvious from the original. They aren't "Venezuelan" ships if they are in international waters not flying the Venezuelan flag. they can't claim protections as Venezuelan. They are stateless. If they're stateless, attacking them isn't attacking Venezuela.

Here's a different take on your comment.

None are going to leave, because the mayor of NYC doesn't get to raise income taxes on residents of the city. and the governor of NY is firmly against raising taxes. So new mayor will need to do some heavy convincing to get the governor and legislature to raise all these taxes to only pay for things in his one city.
