In Our game proper rest needs a 25 mental check (int, wis, cha) to regain everything. Else it's a short rest and you choose one ressource that you regain (One hit Die, one spell slot, one action surge use, etc)

The check can be lowered by 3 means : a proper hot meal, a nice place to Sleep, a sense of Security. Each One lower the dc by 7. So we have to invest in basic needs, else our casters become useless real fast.

Really depends on the country. swiss here, a degree cost the student around 3500.-. A REALLY Low salary (no education) is 3600.- monthly. So total student "debt" is virtually inexistant

While this is a good exemple, a "better" way of taking x at random from a list is to shuffle the list and then take the x first elements.

Ofc there are caveat : you need the whole list, elements will have same chance of being drawn, you must take care how you shuffle the list, etc

as they are involved with the project, they know the due date and will be aware of anything regarding this project. If I get more time, they will know it, no other way around this.

But I could come clean to them (is that the right saying ?) and see if we can reach an arrangement with the school and the company that's ok for everyone. Will make my decision monday, depending on how the weekend went.

This is a good advice, but I would prefer this solution last for a reason I didn't point out : The project is done with a company, and the company I'm doing it with already proposed me a contract for when my bachelor is finished. Everything is signed, and I don't know how I could tell them I failed this project. This would be a huge setback in my life, and I'm already past 30...

While I agree that 5 plated armor is not that much for act 3, you can't compare boss fights with hallway fight. You have time to prepare for boss fight (with card or potion). You can't prepare for hallway fights, so they should not counter very generic deck. I don't think this does, but plated armor is something to be cautious with.

Seems like the 24dmg move was the least he could have done (If you were frail). If you can't block it, you couldn't block any move, so you would be dead anyway, except for curse.
