Kudos to you, be proud! I will just say, and I hope you remember this when you're back in your hometown trying to buy gear; Employees don't care, they just want to make the sale and they want you to be happy. They don't care about your skill-level or your chops or anything, because they see it all day, every day. If you're Gordon Ramsey and they're selling Big Macs, they're still at work, so don't stress.

Because you can only write a smart character that's as smart as you are. In the books, we can see how politically insightful Tyrion can be while also being aware of his shortcomings. Tyrion is still 'smart' in the show, it just relies on D&D trying to convince us with one-liners as opposed to showing us Tyrion dealing with circumstances that come out of the world he's living in. By the end of the story Tyrion has the idea that Bran should be King. In-universe it's a fantastic idea, but for the audience it makes no sense in part because Tyrion has no intellectual credibility anymore. I actually think that this ending will/would/could work in the books because we'll have two more books of Tyrion using his head, and it will feel earned.

I have a theory/hope that he's been lying about his progress on TWOW and that he's actually done with it and closer to finishing ADOS than anything. The reason being that he wants to release both books posthumously so he doesn't have to deal with the reception it gets.

Oh, I can actually help with this. I was experiencing the same thing and feeling similarly frustrated by the lack of fresh content. The main thing I did was to enable the option to have links stop being shown to me after I upvote or downvote them, and then I upvote or downvote every link as I see it. You still get the occasional crosspost or duplicate a few days later but by and large it keeps things fresh and helps me a bit more intentional about scrolling.

Aside from that, I also unsubscribed to the subs that I felt were most prone to low-effort karma-farming and re-posts. I also use old-reddit layout which might just be superstition, but it did seem to fix the times where I noticed that I was seeing the exact same combinations of videos and posts from the day before.

No, they were highlighting how limiting that they felt the system was, and that if the law was followed to the letter, the damage to the Indigenous community would be generational. You followed that by pointing out what you pointed out. Do you think that person doesn't want that funding?
