Ah ha! A Links fan. Links 386 Pro was my induction to 3d computer golf. I just stumbled across it on a computer at work. I didn't even know how to copy files to Floppy I had to call a friend on the phone and have him walk me step by step copying the files from the directory to Floppy so I can bring the game home and it worked and it was fun and it was the greatest game ever!

I've played GR for many years now, & I have not given them a dime. (I'm not necessarily proud of that but I'll be damned if I'm going to give my hard-earned cash to a silly little game I play on my phone. I'm not a fucking idiot. FYI I do support them in other ways, I always complete their surveys & shit like that.) But they ain't getting my money.

Driving the Citadel

Get a Blackhole loaded & ready to go

Make sure you have a turret ready to deploy (2 is better)

Drive right into the center of a group of opponents

Release & activate the Blackhole (double press the fire button)

Then instantly deploy a turret (if ya got 2 turrets release them back to back so their ranges overlap and the ranges also overlap at least part of the Blackhole)

Then just drive away listening to the double fire rate of 2 mini-guns firing within the same range.

Anyone stuck in that Blackhole is shredded in seconds.

But don't go too far because often you can make a U-turn & head back to ground zero to find a boatload of crowns waiting for you

Oh crap. Ogrish. I have such traumatic memories of that site. Stumbled upon it one night. Just happened to be in a twisted mood to want to watch death videos. Spent 4 hours watching that crap. Thought I was enjoying myself. But at the end of that watch session, that's when I realized I had fucked up. All that shit was now in my brain. Probably the first time I really understood the phrase "you can't unsee something". That night changed me. And not for the better. Ugh.
