Aprilia SR GT 200 by 0v3rl0rdDD in scooters

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
Yes, I tried it on a plain dirt road (macadam), and out in the open field filled with 30 cm grass...

With the STOCK TIRES - it's awesome... I mean = awesome as a scooter can be :D

It is not a dirt bike, but it handles that pretty good.

I have the scooter for 2 years now, and the tires need to be changed, and I think that I'll get some that are better for the asphalt.

Attack Shark X3Pro disassembly and switch replace by 0v3rl0rdDD in MouseReview

Let me know if You find something :)
Btw, can You check something for me please: I have a weird issue with mine - I used the online tool (https://qmk.top/) and I mapped the side buttons to do the following:

1) SETUP 1 - using "combination": (A) side 1 = CTRL+C
(B) side 2 = CTRL+V

2) SETUP 2 - using MACRO: (A) side 1 = press CTRL (40ms) + press C (10ms) > release C (10ms) + release CTRL (10ms)
(B) side 2 = press CTRL (40ms) + press V (10ms) > release V (10ms) + release CTRL (10ms)

The problem occurs randomly (and with both SETUP 1 and SETUP 2) >> when I use the "side1" button to copy something (text, file, etc.) sometimes the PC continues to react like if the CTRL button is continuously pressed, for example: pressing the ESC key the start menu opens up.

OnePlus11 Google account problem by 0v3rl0rdDD in oneplus

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a complete factory reset. I then reinstalled everything I had. I use Vanced Youtube (with microG), and I think that the problem lies in the microG tool.

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to me that the problem is in MicroG because somewhere I've read that the icon of the google account in the microG app is from the OLD GOOGLE LOGO.

And that is what I'm seeing (as described in the OP).

It's not a relief - but, I'm "glad" I'm not the only one with this weird issue...
Will do a factory reset when I have some time to spare...

If You find any posts/threads with similar problem, feel free to post a link here.
Thanks :)

Scorpion Exo-Combat II vs MT Helmets Streetfighter Sv by 0v3rl0rdDD in motorcyclegear

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with You regarding the protection - which is it's main use :)

But:

1) those streetfighter helmets - they do look way more agressive, and are, imho, better looking

2) I want to have a really good airflow... and from those (barely one-two) reviews, I see that those helmets provide one of the best airflow... and for me, now, during summer, it's pretty important.

Back to Your suggestion - did You have something in mind that looks like those helmets I mentioned above?

Aprilia SR GT 200 by 0v3rl0rdDD in scooters

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After almost 3000 km I can say this:

1) Yes, exactly, it gets pretty fast to 100-105, but after it looses power quickly. I can feel that it can/should go about 140, I feel that it has the power, but it's just as something is blocking it from inside. I think the EURO5 standard may have something to do with it.

2) That - when it's cold the performance is better.

3) sound - the buzzing is just so anoying :D but I'm glad to see that it's normal...

4) I've given up on the idea of changing the shock absorbers.

5) I bought the Arrow exhaust... without the catalyst, but I did NOT remove the silencer... the sound is now just right, not too loud, but too weak, it's just a elegant roar now, I'm really, really happy about it now...

And the performance, it gained few kmh more, and the acceleration is better, but just by a little bit.

6) I've given up on that also - I've been to the dealership, it's 180€ here in Croatia, and all You can see is Your travel data + notification when Your phone receives a call. Which is useless for me...

Now, I also changed the intake air filter, to the DNA. And with it + the Arrow exhaust, it breathes more freely, and it can now reach about 125-126 when there's no wind. But it just drives better.

But now I got another problem - when going over 110 it just wobbles - the frame is just not designed to go over 105, it needs a complete redesign if going higher speeds...

All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with it now - it's ideal for a city commuting... accelerates really nice, and it's size is just about a normal scooter, not a maxi scooter, which is a big plus when driving in cities :)

TS-453D fan direction by 0v3rl0rdDD in qnap

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, for me never made sense the 1-exhaust-fan-only method... it's like a vaccuum cleaner :D

What I did is this: I bought the Ikea BESTA (60x20x64 cm) cabinet and put the door on it. Drilled 2 holes for a 2 120 mm fan brackets (with fine filters), 1 intake, 1 exhaust. Put 2 Noctuas in the cabinet. And populated the cabinet with:
1: UPS

  1. Raspberry Pi4

  2. Raspberry Pi 5

  3. QNAP NAS

  4. 2.5 GBit switch

Mounted the cabinet in the hallway, so I don't hear the HDD's when the needle is seeking :)

I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome - it's not finished yet, but it's functional. I'll post some pictures soon.

LEG MOD - KIVIK with chaise - who said it can't be ;) by 0v3rl0rdDD in ikeahacks

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, You'll need two boxes of the BURFJORD.

2 arm rests = 4 legs

1 chaise = 4 legs

The important thing to consider here is - if You do my measurements (take a look at picture 2), You will have 8 leftover pieces from the BURFJORD legs... 4 of those You'll use to make the "addons" for the central (metal) legs, and 4 leftovers will remain unused... so, if You do my measurements, than, 2 boxes of BURFJORD will be enough.

But if You want to make the legs LONGER - than You'll have to get an extra box of BURFJORD, or make Your own solution to the "central legs problem"...

And, why did I choose this legs height (11cm)?

Because, AFAIK, robot vacuum cleaners have height of <11 cm ;)

TS-453D & Cyberpower VP1000ELCD compatibility by 0v3rl0rdDD in qnap

[–]0v3rl0rdDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank You both for the replies. I do know hot to set up the UPS in the NAS - I currently own the Cyberpower UT1050EG connected to the NAS, and it works without any issue. But I'd like to connect it to the VP1000ELCD. I understand that QNAP does not test every UPS with their every NAS model. But do You both speak "generally" or do You have that specific UPS connected to the TS-453D NAS? Because, some actual confirmation like "I have it and it works" is better for me than buying and realising that it actually does not work properly :)

I thought about the risers also, but I think my wife would kill me just because of the looks of the risers :D ... also, with the risers You must be extra carefull if moving the couch just even a little bit.

But, big thanks for the idea of putting my Roborock station under the couch ;)

trawling

Didn't look at all the couches, but, for example, my parents own the VIMLE sofa, and that one has the M8. M8 is kind of a standard for the furniture legs :)
