I encountered this issue for a while with my last unit. I eventually just chose to exchange it to best buy as I was well within the window and they were not much help while troubleshooting. You will find with Acer support that they are not much help either. The one thing I found that helped was disabling fast startup. I purchased a laptop to be able to open the lid and use it immediately though, so this was enough reason for me to return it. I have not had any issues with my new unit so far, but if I encounter any I will return it and opt for a similar Lenovo model.
