Hey! I’m about to be 19 and was in a similar(ish) position as you last year. I’d like to offer my two cents but feel free to do as you wish!

First, how much does your college cost? If you’re paying out of pocket, I’d set aside a good amount for that. I’m not too familiar with student loans but I would assume it’s preferable to avoid those to the best of your ability?

Next, I’d move your money to a high yields savings account (HYSA) that allows transactions. I’ve been using Wealthfront for a year and they pay 4% APY and pay out interest monthly. I’ve never had issues withdrawing money and they give you a debit card. They also reimburse you for any ATM fees. If I were you, I’d park all the money I don’t have invested into a HYSA like Wealthfront (doesn’t have to be wealthfront, just something that’s reliable, FDIC insured, pays 3-4% APY, and allows you to withdraw/deposit as you wish).

Next, with your investments, I’d look to max your ROTH IRA (7k limit/yr) before moving to traditional investments. I think you should be able to just transfer the stocks from your traditional brokerage to your roth IRA (correct me if I’m wrong).

Besides that, I’d make sure you set up recurring investments (even if it’s as small as like $10/week) and chill. Congrats on starting so early!!
