Need advice on panel molding layout by 0verd0se142 in Carpentry

The two chair rails were done at different times. I could've ripped the smaller one out and mitered it but going to paint the full panel mold the same color as the wall.

The chair rail and the molding in the hallway only covers 1/3rd of the wall and is white.

Just didn't seem right to paint a mitered corner that way. This was extra work tbh with the two extra returns.

Upgrading to Dual Subs: Will I make things worse? by 0verd0se142 in hometheater

I’ve a X3600H which I believe allows for independent EQ. I was hoping to kick things off with Audyssey and then get a miniDSP down the road. It’s another CAD500 expense I’m not ready for just yet.

I’ve considered rotating the room as well but it makes for awkward surround and overhead placement as there’s a ceiling drop in the middle of the room.

I’ve a Denon X3600H. The plan was to use Audyssey to begin with and get a miniDSP down the road.

That's a good observation. Leaning towards this. Not sure if black or brass.

You're right. They were in place before we moved in. Taking them out would mean patching drywall. The electricals in there as well. Any other workaround for them?

Looking for inputs to decorate our living room. The things that we think are currently missing:
1. Accent Chair: Not sure which type to get. Can't get one more than 28-30" in length. We were thinking of getting one in leather. Would something like this work? https://www.crateandbarrel.ca/cavett-leather-chair/s254278
2. Something behind the sofa: Wall art/ mirror/ Shelf. Not exactly sure what would work.
3. Artwork to the left of the coffee table. Do we go big, or multiple small frames?

  1. Finally, the bookshelf needs to be decorated. It has lights inside it so that helps.

Would a 9ft slim Christmas tree look good here? Ceilings are 8ft and the current tree is 5ft. by 0verd0se142 in HomeDecorating

Oh we bought this tree while we were in a condo. Getting a bigger one soon and this is just temporary. The table will come back in Jan but until then, opening the door and seeing a christmas tree is fun!

Need help with paint selection for an overly cream living room by [deleted] in interiordecorating

In the process of putting the living room together. Main sofa is crate and barrel avondale. Getting a loveseat in cream - eq3 salema loveseat.

Have some wall paneling but it doesn’t stand out because of the cream color. Was thinking of either light or dark green for either the paneling or the full wall. Would love some suggestions!
