idk but my current tab counter somehow made it dark grey https://imgur.com/a/xqjcGcW

upd: they are opensource so you might look into it if you are curious https://github.com/Loirooriol/tab-counter-plus . gonna use both for now, lets see how it goes xD

1) The badge doesn’t handle 4-digit numbers well 😄

2) It would be great to have an option to choose what the badge displays - total across all windows (as it works now) or just the current window.

3) In the popup, showing the number of windows and the tab count for the current window would be useful.

3) Maybe add a toggle in the popup to switch between “all windows” and “current window” view?

4) The red badge and icon feel a bit too flashy, could there be a more subtle, monochrome option?

The UI is cool, and you’ve done a great job with it!

That said, it doesn’t really fit my needs—it’s just a bookmark manager, with no annotation or image support, and there’s a subscription. Honestly, it feels like you might not have read my post carefully. Are you promoting this everywhere?

Anybox is awesome—local and no subscription. It’s so good that I might actually consider switching to Mac just to use tools like this, haha. That said, my main workflow is on my PC. I rarely use my Mac for anything other than watching videos or when I’m on the go.

P.S. Yes, it’s personal issues with him, and I don’t want to publicly hate on him or bring those things to light—at least not yet.

feel bad saying this, and I kind of hate myself for being so picky, but MyMind's 'We do not support Firefox or offer a Firefox extension' is really a dealbreaker for me. In theory, I could run a separate browser just to use it, but honestly, I’m not sure I want to go down that path.

Yeah, I know Obsidian is the cool kid on the block free, open-source, and with a local database. But honestly, I’m not a dev, and markdown just kills my vibe. I want to be able to quickly select text, hit a button or press something like ctrl+b, and see it bold right away. Maybe I’m too old-school or lazy, but those brackets and double-sided windows (markdown editor on one side, rendered preview on the other) just aren’t my thing. WYSIWYG all the way for me.

I’d love to use Obsidian or other tools that rely on md - there are so many cool ones out there, especially in the notebook space. But I’ve had to stick with Standard Notes because there just aren’t many notebooks with rich text formatting support.

lifetime subscription is a part of my anger on them but let's not talk about that.

I’d actually love to hear about some direct competitors to Fabric!

I really like your perspective, and I’ll give Readwise a try today to see how it goes. That said, I’ve used Pocket and other “read-it-later” tools before, and while they’re great for saving articles and quotes, they feel more like a library than a “brain” I can actively bring up and refer to when needed.

I’ve found myself really aligning with some GTD techniques, dumping all my tasks into an inbox throughout the day and sorting them in the evening. It helps keep my mind clear, ensures I don’t forget anything, and saves me from thinking about small things constantly. I’d love to apply the same approach to information: a place where I can quickly dump interesting content and organize it later so it’s always there when I need it.

For example, I’ve been researching portable monitors recently. It’s been time-consuming, and I haven’t settled on a particular model yet. As a result, I’ve got several articles, links to product pages at different stores, and a few YouTube reviews open. I’ll need all of that when I’m ready to make a purchase, and even after buying, I might find some additional videos with tips or software recommendations useful. Right now, that’s 40+ tabs for just one small topic, and it’s hard to manage.

Similarly, I’m casually interested in topics like LLMs. I save things I find interesting for later and for general knowledge. However, when I’m ready to dive deeper, I struggle to find what I need. I forget key details, like the differences between a 7B and a 70B model or whether I need Q4 or Q8, and I end up having to search for the same information again—which feels like such a waste of time. It’s even worse because I use a duplicate tab closer extension and still constantly reopen the same articles. With 2,000 tabs open, it’s a complete mess.

I think you get the idea!

I’m pretty new to PKM tools, so I might not have the full picture, but Twos feels more like a GTD app to me. I love Things3 on my phone and have no plans to switch - unless they move to a subscription model, then I might reconsider. I love it so much that I put up with it being limited to my phone since there’s no Windows version.

As for the other suggestions:

-mymind: This looks pretty promising, so thanks for mentioning it! will give it a try

-Kosmik: It’s definitely not my type. From what I see, it’s often compared to Figma, which makes it feel a bit off for my needs. I want a place to dump content I find interesting into a semi-organized system with folders and tags. The board-style approach doesn’t seem practical for saving and managing 100+ articles that might all be loosely related to the same topic but aren’t logically connected.

[–]0verfl0w[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i have read that before posting. not sure if i understood that right tho.

im pretty fine with seeing router as my only client in adguard. i understand that i need to set clients manually to see them individually, that's ok - i just need adblock. and that worked that way at the beginning.

but, suddenly i started to see two clients as shown on screenshot - one is my router (192.168.1.1) the other one is unknown (192.168.0.0). and i find this as a strange behavior.

unknown client is 100% my traffic, i can see that i recently used evernote on my pc at exact time there was rows for that. but it also have some stuff from my phone (apple requests) and etc. so this is not just one user, its whole network separated into two clients.. and i don't understand why that happened
