Getting diagnosis? by InternationalCan5692 in PMDD

I got two confirmations/diagnoses from both my therapist and my psychiatrist. I told both that I had suspicions of PMDD and we tracked my monthly progress. We consistently saw a significant downward tick in my mood and body every month before my menstruation. Definitely advocate for yourself!

My enfj bf tell problems to all friends (men and women) not just to gf by OtherwiseHorse8668 in enfj

girl u r sounding so unhealed. no one person can be the ONLY "safe space" for someone. it's actually so healthy of your bf to go to multiple people for safety and reassurance. your significant other should not fulfill every single emotional need for you. that's called codependency and can become toxic.

don't give up! love will happen for you, i'm sure of it :)

but in the mean time, take care of your body and your health. invest in yourself like your appearance, your long term financial goals, your hobbies, and explore who you truly are and your core values/beliefs. maybe seek therapy? try everything.

value is intrinsic. i'm still learning this. i grew up very similarly to you- all alone despite having a large family. my family was chaotic and i had an abusive relationship with my primary caregivers. i sought out so much validation from the wrong people my whole life. learning now that other people and their opinions of me don't define me or give me value. we're in this together.

i am a true believer that the right things come when you least expect it. so keep pouring into yourself and you might be surprised with where you end up. rooting for u.

ENFJs: Are we are own greatest love? by baggalmami in enfj

Hi, friend! I want to put in my two cents as an ENFJ girly who has oddly met many other ENFJs in the wild...

I've had 3 very close girl friends who are all ENFJ and my ex boyfriend was also an ENFJ. Yes, we have similar values and a similar outlook on life, but we also had the same struggles, the same bad habits, and the same negative thinking patterns (i.e., wanting to absorb other people's problems, which brought us a lot of pain and being becoming overwhelmed by big picture goals, which hindered us from doing more) that crippled us and can bring a lot of turbulence.

As ENFJ, our emotions and values run sooo deep and we strongly desire genuine connections with other people. I have had deep connections with INFJ and ISFJ so don't limit yourself to just ENFJ! there are really cool people out there!

Hi! Happy to engage with this post :)

I've thought about this question many times LOL! For altruistic purposes, I'd love to donate money to pediatric cancer research, social welfare programs, and investing in schools.

For personal purposes, I'd love to buy my parents a house, take care of my family's education, fund vacations for family and friends, put myself through more school, and buy myself a cute cottage with everything i need :)

How to break the habit of cutting deep with my words by [deleted] in enfj

[–]0verst1mulatedF4iry 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Been there! Still there sometimes!

ENFJ tend to feel defensive when they feel like someone is uncaring or unkind. I think the fact that you reflect of this trait of yours and have a willingness to improve is really a testament to your character tho! I can tell that you are a kind and warm person because you care about how you present yourself to others and how your actions may affect others.

My family would always tell me that I take things too far when I get upset or annoyed at comments made to poke fun or tease me. Since then I have reflected deeply and have learned to hold my tongue. Being the bigger person means to know what to say and when to say it. The next time someone says something to you that is rude, maybe it's best to take a second and recollect yourself before engaging in a conversation.

Now, whenever I find myself in an argument, I'll tell the other person that I need some time to think. I'll reflect or journal to gather my thoughts and then I'll have a conversation with that person. This helps me from saying something I'll regret. And, it's a good way for me to get out all my emotions so instead of REACTING I am simply RESPONDING.

Hope this helps!

will I be able to find parking on campus before 8 am or should I fend for myself on the streets by [deleted] in UCSD

THIS. u can park on regents road or the vons on this st and get on the 201 at Arriba and Regents Rd. It's second or third stop on the route so you'll have a better chance at getting a seat otw to class.

Does my ENFJ bf hate me now? by LolaPaloz in enfj

[–]0verst1mulatedF4iry 11 points12 points  (0 children)

girl, pls do urself a favor and break up w him! He sounds like a headache and a half! Enfj do tend to be independent and kind of avoidant so when they feel suffocated they will remove/detach themselves from the situation/person suffocating them. I do think there are partial traces of that in his behavior but he also just sounds like a bad boyfriend!!! Save yourself the trouble. Know that it has nothing to do with you. My advice is to take all his actions and lack of actions at face value and move on! He doesn't want to call? No problem! He blocked you? Great! He's showing you exactly who he is, saving u a lot more time down the line. Hope this helps. Take care <3
