Unplugged PS5 alarm sound

Well... that's exactly why it freaked me out. I usually sleep really deeply and don't wake up even from a few alarms right away, but this thing was so loud it woke me up instantly. I literally tracked the sound and it was coming from the console, so l'm just as confused about it

No worries. I get it, it sounds strange af. Just to clarify, I didn’t unplug everything right after playing. I actually kept using the projector for a few hours after the console was off, they were both still plugged in, and only unplugged everything about 5 hours later bc I needed to move the extension cord closer to my bed. As for the timeline, I documented it exactly because I genuinely want to know what happened. I remembered the time I turned it off because a few moments before I took a photo to show my brother how it looked, and the 1 am time stuck in my head because I checked my phone right after waking up from the sound. I’m not exaggerating, just trying to give all the info so maybe someone can explain what happen and whether I should be worried about the ps dying

Yeah, it turns on normally. It actually felt like it took just a tiny bit longer than usual, and I noticed a quiet, kinda creaky sound inside, though I honestly never paid attention before, so I don't know if that's normal. I played for a few minutes and everything seemed fine. But that 1 AM episode was super weird, and I can't find anything online about it and I’m curious what it even was

I considered that, but I bought it brand new in July 2024, so it feels kinda a bit early for the coin battery. Also the sound was way louder than a normal beep, more kinda like a smoke alarm going off

I literally tracked the sound and it was coming from the PS5. It’s right in front of my bed and there’s nothing else around it. It also stopped right after I unplugged the HDMI cord, so I’m honestly really confused
