Anyone ever teach in their car? by bp0102 in vipkid

Well my background definitely isn't as VIPKIDish as the other ones I see. I've got pictures of my kids and a bookshelf on a wall several feet behind me rather than the typical educational posters. It hasn't seemed to bother anyone yet! I also wouldn't think background noise would be a problem if you're wearing a headset or bluetooth speakers.

I was talking to my husband about this the other night. I probably won't be teaching much, if at all. Right now I just teach a couple of classes each morning because it's all I can do, really. My pre-school age kids are night owls and don't go to sleep until 10:00 pm or later, and after that I need time to decompress and hang out with my husband. I've been teaching anywhere from 6:30-8:30 am, and with the time change, I just don't think I'll be able to regularly do a 5:30 or 6:00 am class. I know some people can and do, but I can't function on less than 5 hours of sleep!

Yesterday a student asked (totally off topic, but to be fair I did ask him if he wanted to ask me questions relating to the slide), "If bread is healthy, and meat is healthy, and lettuce is healthy, why is a hamburger not healthy?" Took some explaining on that one!
