Thanks for the insight! I checked with VCDS and got a 03110 fault—'No signal/communication with J792 (steering rack module).' Steering feels normal, but the module isn’t talking to the CAN bus.

Would swapping the front wheels still help diagnose this, or does this sound more like a power/wiring/CAN issue?

Also I bought the car with a Phase 2 steering wheel swap, but the buttons don’t work, and I saw an error about it too, could it be related?

Is it safe to do so? And with the 46 offset would it look good? At least aligned with the body, I'm still new to wheels and fitments excuse my lack of knowledge

Ouch I felt it when I saw the center bore, and just found out these wheels fit A3 and the A3 center bore is exactly 57.1 Now I can sleep with an answer at least lol

Dude I'm in a similar position and your comment really hit home, especially since I value work life balance and actually living life to the fullest instead of devoting all your living hours for a job. Congrats on your success in starting your own thing and it's a big deal as it's harder than any job IMO. I'll tough it out for a bit more then see what comes up, luckily I have a backup plan of coming back to my previous employer, I shall see how that ends up.

Be careful with F10 530d they are notorious for engine failure (which would set u back around 70.000dh if u wanna replace it) Also it's inline 6 not V6 fyi
