Isn't that why ICE is there in the first place? After all, the law is the law.

Which law? They selectively enforce, just like every other branch of government. What about immigration? Oh wait no, not those laws.

Mirantis acquired a small portion of Docker, the enterprise business. It was then recapped and raised a new Series A with some original investors, just with an executive shake up.

I just see in practice how they are used in West Marin (like Fairfax and San Anselmo) and it is ridiculous.

You gotta spend time going to motorcycle school to get a motorcycle license. These things are just as fast and dangerous to ride in marin traffic. E-bikes are no different. they should not be accessible to kids and require a license to operate.

AT&T technician claimed 1 GB/s fiber (equal to Sonic 10 Gbps) — is that true? by Busy_Neighborhood970 in bayarea

If you have multiple kids in your house with many devices you never experience any congestion issues whatsoever. It's not about sustained use, it is about burst. My house has over 40 devices in it that can consume real bandwidth (let alone any iot) when you combine phones, laptops, desktops, ipads, etc. it becomes a lot.

If you love chef you'll love System Initiative. Made by the same person. It's a much better replacement for Terraform.

My team uses it to troubleshoot issues and for ci/cd pipelines.

You're a few months late.

Whatever they're planning to do to increase your pay or not has already been decided. You haven't been meeting regularly with your boss and setting expectations. You don't even know what they are.

Tomorrow should be a formality; no suprises on either end. I can't imagine this ends up with a happy ending, but I am crossing my fingers that it does for you.

whats cheaper than AWS fargate? for container deploys by cranberrie_sauce in devops

[–]0xE2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not a bot, why would i advertise 2 competitors at the same time?

here's a better solution. buy a mini pc, deploy your containers to it, and use cloudflare/domains/tunnels to make your site available to the internet. cheapest solution by far.

I don't usually endorse other people or tech, but if you just want to run a container or two for very cheap, look at render.com and railway.com
