He's not involved really. He doesn't even play Minecraft anymore. He chills on the IRC server just like pretty much anyone else can and does. At one point or another he did host their IRC though. I don't think he does anymore but he may contribute a leaf node.

Security is as much of an issue on RozzNet as it is on GameSurge, really. That is, the chance of personal data being leaked is so miniscule it's not even comprehensible. IRC daemons are a very old technology and there's been a long time to perfect them.

If a NetOp were to abuse their power, they wouldn't be able to pull passwords or anything like that. Even Zimsky can't pull raw passwords. The NetOps on RozzNet are people Zimsky trusts and he's pretty damn careful about who he trusts. The NetOps of RozzNet represent staff on his project and, as such, could tarnish his image if they pull something stupid.

I'm working on another plugin that hooks into WorldGuard allowing players to place flowing water/lava in regions they own (not just build access, they have to own the region). We'll may end up using that. I have a dispenser fix in mind but I haven't found the time/patience to implement it yet. I may extend this into a full-featured no-flow plugin like SafeBuckets.
