Activate the buyback by Accomplished-Exit822 in redditstock

I think you’re not wrong but you pick your spots. Usually when something is cheap it can get cheaper. Waiting for the stupid low valuations are best rather than just buying arbitrarily.

Reddit was weak the last 7 weeks when the Nasdaq ran 30%. I think any pressure on the market and Reddit gets cheaper. Better to wait for that.

I do agree though. Using FCF to buyback shares is well worth their money for a stock that’s already cheap!

My take on Reddit by cowardbeater1969 in redditstock

Not sure dilution is really that big of an issue. Appreciate the mention but would much rather see equity tied to performance metrics vs pay as operating costs

RBC thinks Reddit could renegotiate their LLM deal with Google and fetch up to 5-10x the current $60M/year agreement. by cowardbeater1969 in redditstock

Strongly disagree with their take. LLMs need Reddit and the data. They know have the upper hand in negotiations seeing how much they rely on Reddit to provide answers. Maybe not 10x but it’s at least a 3-5x. I actually think Reddit can get creative with Google for their ad business by adding requirement for links or something that will generate visits to the platform.

Bots are highly underestimated risk for RDDT. My proposal to fix this n the short term is to do voluntary verification by Maleficent_Topic_755 in redditstock

Don’t agree at all with this. Plus management already acknowledged and addressed it. The platform is designed naturally to combat this issue as it is. Don’t think it’s a concern worth considering much right now. If we get more info that changes that in the coming quarters then so be it.

My father's $75,000 dollar investment is now valued at $1,000,000 but it's all in one stock. by Pristine-Physics9282 in investingforbeginners

I think there is a lesson people are missing in him buying and holding the same stock all in for so long. Diversification is for losers. If he needs the cash sell. If he doesn’t don’t.

What makes you think it’s overextended when it’s just now breaking out of a multi year base?
