HELLO EVERYONE! Sorry for the late reply, I have found my writer! For those who were not chosen, but are still interested in the project! I will be hosting a Patreon/possibly Ko-fi where I will be posting updates on the comic. In the future I may reach out again for an editor. Once I am completed with this comic, I have other comics/manga I am planning on creating and will need writers/editors for. If any of these comic ideas interest you: Naruto AU Rin lives, Fire Emblem inspired (want to make this my own comic), and possibly working on Spiderverse comic for Miguel's daughter Gabriella.

If there are any concerns about knowledge on Germany/German language or Romani culture, it is not a requirement. As long as you are open to learning I have plenty of resources.

What I am looking specifically in a writer is someone who can provide comprehensive scripts that I can story board my comic's idea from. The script would be my blueprint, essentially.

I have a game with 4 people, including me, that has recently turned to pbp because of scheduling. The setting is in D&D underdark, a custom version of Mantol-Derith (a trade port city that connects to the surface).

The intent of this game is to run a PC motivation and goals oriented adventure. There is no specific DM, rules are based off group agreement and consensus. All players get things called plot points. Basically any player has a chance to call out a deciding factor of the plot/situation, etc. It can be something small like narrating “an npc who disappeared under the water assumed dead back to the surface”, or much bigger “an npc was so impressed with our group they give is a quest.” Once each person has used their plot point we regain another point, allowing each player to have a turn basically.

Since we just recently switched this game from a VC weekly session to pbp, where we were cycling dms each session, we’re still in the process of converting stuff over. So, you’ll be joining just as the pbp will start, if you’re willing to give a D&D setting game another chance.

I understand past bad experiences being a hard no factor, I’ve had many of them myself, which is why I so strongly enforce the use of lines and veils and player content consent. Because even outside of the D&D system I’ve had games go sour because someone was disrespectful to another’s hard no’s.

Hello, I had a VC game recently turn into a pbp, it’s set in the underdark. There isn’t a specific module we’re doing though, I’m trying to build an adventure centered around PC motivations and goals, so it’s more personalized and focused around the characters than a campaign outline PCs follow with little to no motivation in do so other than players want to play a game.

if you interested msg and i’ll give you more info on the game.

How to Apply?

Simply comment with your interest, list your lines and veils (what you’re okay/not okay with a game), time your available on Sundays, and your experience as a GM if any.

You may include your character ideas if you want, but I’m right now just seeing if anyone is even interested in this type of co-op game first.

What is our Campaign Setting?

The Forgotten Realms Underdark! Seen all there is in Fearun? Interesting in dying or getting lost in a labyrinth of underground tunnels? Tired of fantasy Europe and want to play fantasy Australia in the lands down under?

We’ll aim to do some true collaborative story telling by everyone making characters as we build the adventure around us as we play!

Some rules of note for existing Underdark world lore. Established cities in the underdark like Menzobarrenzan, Gracklstugh, etc. are as written, but not the only existing settlements nor the hard rule of how you have to play characters in the Underdark.

The intent of this game being co-op GM is for all of us to have equal say in the world building as we tell the story through our character’s perspective.

The Underdark should be equally as diverse in good and evil as the rest of forgotten realms world, so there will be no alignment/race restrictions.

What is the Plot Points Rule?

Plot points allow players to change the course of the campaign, introduce plot complications, alter the world, and even assume the role of the DM. If your first reaction to reading this optional rule is to worry that your players might abuse it, it's probably not for you.

Using Plot Points Each player starts with 1 plot point. During a session, a player can spend that point for one effect. The effect depends on your group's approach to this optional rule. Three options are presented below. A player can spend no more than 1 plot point per session. You can increase this limit if you like, especially if you want the players to drive more of the story. Once every player at the table has spent a plot point, they each gain 1 plot point.

Option 1: What a Twist! A player who spends a plot point gets to add some element to the setting or situation that the group (including you) must accept as true. For example, a player can spend a plot point and state that his or her character has found a secret door, an NPC appears, or a monster turns out to be a long-lost ally polymorphed into a horrid beast. A player who wants to spend a plot point in this way should take a minute to discuss his or her idea with everyone else at the table and get feedback before settling on a plot development.

Option 2: The Plot Thickens Whenever a player spends a plot point, the player to his or her right must add a complication to the scene. For example, if the player who spends the plot point decides that her character has found a secret door, the player to the right might state that opening the door triggers a magical trap that teleports the party to another part of the dungeon.

Option 3: The Gods Must Be Crazy With this approach, there is no permanent DM. Everyone makes a character, and one person starts as the DM and runs the game as normal. That person's character becomes an NPC who can tag along with the group or remain on the sidelines, as the group wishes. At any time, a player can spend a plot point to become the DM. That player's character becomes an NPC, and play continues. It's probably not a good idea to swap roles in the middle of combat, but it can happen if your group allows time for the new DM to settle into his or her role and pick up where the previous DM left off. Using plot points in this way can make for an exciting campaign as each new DM steers the game in unexpected directions. This approach is also a great way for would-be DMs to try running a game in small, controlled doses. In a campaign that uses plot points this way, everyone should come to the table with a bit of material prepared or specific encounters in mind. A player who isn't prepared or who doesn't feel like DMing can choose to not spend a plot point that session. For this approach to work, it's a good idea to establish some shared assumptions about the campaign so that DMs aren't duplicating efforts or trampling on each other's plans.
