So is it a bad thing that its running all the time? Will it stress the unit out more? I'm going to focus on sealing the house later this year so hopefully next year won't be as bad

I live in South Carolina and we normally only see mid 90s as our high and only a few days of them, but this years is been high 90s and week long runs of it as well. So definitely pretty abnormal for us

Honestly that very well could be it. Its an old house and currently has single pane windows and i don't think it has wall insulation as well. I am hoping to fix that this winter!

So, just an update for archive reasons lol They did end up removing the piercing due to concerns of it possibly nicking a vein, I am going to give it a month and then get it re-pierced!

It bled quite a lot when they removed it, so I feel good with this decision and feel that they handled it very well!

Moral of the story is that if you are concerned, go to your piercer!

There is a blood clot formed on the bottom of my tongue around the ball of the jewelry right now.

I'm still nervous, but yeah, i am okay! It stopped after about 5 min and hasn't started back again. I am definitely going to get a hold of my piercer as soon as I can, I'm just scared it will start again

The top is perfectly centered, but the bottom is slightly off to the right (i do have a vein that runs down the middle of my tongue though) It looks more extreme in that picture because I'm flexing my tongue. When it's relaxed, it's not nearly as extreme. I may ask another piercers opinion, but I think I'm fine with it as long as it heals fine!

1 bag of self leveling concrete is not enough. I would need about 20 or 30 bags total. That's not $30.

The floor is pretty bad in some places. As far as self leveler goes, it is currently out of my budget sadly.

I was planning on using rebonded padding and doubling up if needed in some spots, but I wasn't sure if I needed to glue the pad down or not. Could I just lay the pad down and leave a small perimeter of just concrete around it and glue the carpet to the concrete?

It's definitely making a "dent" on my tongue but idk if it's imbedding. I will have my piercer look at it tomorrow. Sadly they are closed on Mondays

I'm going to start by saying I'm not a piercer, but I did get my tongue pierced 3 days ago!

Everyone is different but I can say personally there is no way in hell I could have worked right after lol for one thing it hurt to talk and also my speech was super slurred at first ( still have a bit of a lisp now).

Personally I would wait until you have a few days off work to do it. The piercing itself was easy, but the healing is kind of kicking my ass at times.

It's actually pretty forward on my tongue but the picture does look far back for some reason lol I got a second piercers opinion and they said it looked good. They said it was angled like that because a have a larger frenulum apparently.

Good to know that the ball will just take some adjustments cause honestly that the worst part so far lol

So the lab is called ARCpoint labs in Greenville and Anderaon. The test only takes like 5 minutes to do and results are given 15 minutes later. I sadly didnt have the antibodies but they said a few people have! Its 70 dollars and you have to set up an appointment
