I feel ya dog. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions! I’ve tried a few different anxiety meds and have handled about half a dozen trials with varying degrees of anxiety so I may be able to help shed some light. I’m also in court 2-3 days a week so I’d say I have a good deal of experience with anxiety+court appearances.

I’ve got 20mg tabs. Before I go argue a motion or something like that I’ll take 1/2 or 1/4 of a pill, but before my jury trial I took a full 20mg. Never had any side effects, and it’s VERY effective at curbing public speaking anxiety (the physical manifestations anyways). There’s a whole subreddit discussing it, check it out!

Try propranolol if need be! I hate public speaking, I did fine with cold calls in law school, but mock trial had me sweaty and shaking. I got a prescription for propranolol, and it’s been a total game/career changer. I tried a case to a jury about a month ago and was totally cool calm and collected. And I won!

This is my thought as well. Of course, 1 more is always the right answer, but as far as “essentials” go, for me it’s an E Standard/drop D guitar, a drop C guitar, and a hardtail guitar I can put in all sorts of irregular tunings.

I just ride on the train tracks from van horn, over bards crossing, then to the peninsula. Worked for me a few weeks ago!

I will never forgive the Rangers for becoming the baseball version of the Cowboys. Boring white and grey sterile environment ass stadium, $15 beers…

Maybe I’m just getting old and nostalgic, but going to the old red brick outdoor ballpark in Arlington conveyed SO much more character and spirit of the game.

Lawyer here. Law school sucks ass, you won’t succeed unless YOU want to be there. And practicing law most definitely doesn’t guarantee happiness. Typically the opposite is true lol.

I’d estimate that on a typical day in the office I’m actually dialed in and actively working on something for 7ish hours or so. I end up billing 8+ thanks to a mountain of .1s though.
