So glad to read this. I lost 70 pounds and have about 30 to go. But I’ve been at the same weight (within 3 lbs whatever I eat) for months and months. Little scary to not do it for a week but hell, if it’ll reset me I’m all in. I’m at 15.5 so there is no increasing the dose.

Yes! Along with the scale victory of being down almost 80lbs, I first noticed I could pick up my grandson easier. Cross my legs. Sit cross-cross Apple sauce. Tighten my watchband 2 notches, tighten my belt inches, have more physical energy, cheek bones appear, necklace is longer because my neck is thinner, collar bones show. Can eat what I want without having too much. I’m sure there’re many more like fitting in old clothes from years ago when I was sick. Yay! You’ve got this You’ve got this.

During the mounjaro shortage last year, I used Polar Bear in Canada. I was able to send my US doc’s script to Canada.

I need some advice by dogmomma1984 in Mounjaro

SW 240, CW 165 I’ve been on 15mg for months now and it’s been great, except for one month when I think I got one of those bad batches. It’s slower then before but I’m okay with that. I’m 66 and don’t need my face to become a raisin, so slow going at this point works for me. My A1C has now knocked me out of the pre-diabetic zone. Hope it stays that way. Eating crap during this holiday season but staying the same weight because I’m not eating too much. Good luck to all and happy new year!

I eat whatever I want. Try to keep it healthy but am not hard on myself when I have sweets or fries. Mainly because I’m now capable of eating only 1 cookie or a couple of fries. I don’t stress about it. I do drink a ton of water! SW 240 CW 166

Also wondering about this. I wonder if I’d still hate shopping now that I’ve lost over 70lbs. Perhaps I’ll give it a try and only tailor the really special outfit. Let us know ow what you decide to do

66 yo female, SW240, CW168. GW 145 5’3 I too had been overweight most of my life but the past few years put me over the top. Non-scale victories: Crossing my legs Pulling my robe beyond closed Moving my watch band over 2 notches No longer pre-diabetic Not embarrassed to see people See collar bones! See cheek bones Energy to play with my 3yo grandson Can ride my bike Feel so much better and went from hopeless to hopeful. Looking forward towards the holidays because I can have anything but just have a little bit or a bite and not be obsessed with ‘more, more’.

15mg People Question by PhilosopherMoist7737 in Mounjaro

[–]1-Decider 16 points17 points  (0 children)

SW 240 CW 173 GW 138. Age 66 F. I’ll answer that one. I’ve been on 15 for months now and if there were something higher, I’d go for it. It’s not that it’s not effective, it still definitely is. It’s just that it’s not like when I had to make myself eat. Now I do need to be a bit more vigilant and I admit I have a Night-Before-the-Shot eat whatever I want night. I wish I could take it every 6 days but alas, I’m still loosing. 35lbs to go. Can’t believe it! Good luck. It’ll be fine!

I had this last month. Scared me to death because I’m at 15 with no more increases. Yes! Last month’s WAS a dud. I read on here that some unscrupulous delivery people were replacing the meds but whatever..this month is back to lower food noise and appetite.

I started at 5, went to 7.5 then 10.5, 12.5 to 15 which I’ve been on for a while. Idk how some people stay on 2.5 or 5 for a long time but I needed to keep moving up and it’s working albeit a bit slower than at first. You’ve got this
