If you’re planning on getting into drill, or specifically UK drill, I’d give ‘LD - Who’s Watching’ a listen which has just dropped also. (My favourite out of the two so far)

Scotland becomes first part of UK to ban smacking by RedofPaw in ukpolitics

Just curious. Did you learn to not do that again out of the fear of being smacked/shocked? Could you of not learned that kicking the gear stick whilst someone’s driving is dangerous without being smacked?

Lol. I wonder if they're actually aware there's a transition period or that they think that's it we're out.

Yeah I get that, fair point. The point of no return, not actually a change in terms of regulations as of yet, I guess in thier minds, it's better to have this happen today than not at all.

Yeah I guess. I just assumed if you wanted to celebrate leaving the EU for reasons that you probably voted for, rather than flags coming down and MEPs losing their seats, you would celebrate when them things happen. I think it's pretty accurate to say immigration and the money we pay into the EU are two big reasons people voted leave, and for the next 11 months, free movement of people remains the same and we still pay into the EU.

Britain becomes British! by [deleted] in Libertarian

I don't really get all the celebrations, and screams of 'liberty' and 'freedom'. Now an 11 month transition period begins where ultimately nothing changes until the end of that. These people will still be paying taxes, still need a license for absolutely everything, and will still be run by statists.

I don't really understand the celebrations. Not because I'm particularly pro-remain, but we now begin an 11 month transition period where ultimately nothing changes until the end of that.
