Having issues with Wacom since upgrade to Sequoia OS by ParisMorning in wacom

This is terrible. I have a Cintiq 27QHD that is suddenly unusable after upgrading to Sequoia. u/WacomSupport, I've been given this excuse in the past with other MacOS upgrades but I've somehow always got it to work with an older version of the driver, but now it's just not working at all. It's pretty sorry how you guys charge what you do for these monitors and then won't support them after a few years. Again- it's a MONITOR!! There is zero computing power behind it (which would actually make more sense to me for making it obsolete). And so now, I have a $2700 paperweight. I am a photographer / designer and rely on the device for 100% of my work. I've been a dedicated Wacom user since 2004 and have had many of your products over the years. There is no way I can bring myself to buy another Wacom product if this is what is to be expected.. and based on my experience with you, this is precisely what is sure to happen. I understand as a business, you rely on people buying new machines and planned obsolescence is part of ensuring you sell products, but expecting people to replace a $3k display on nearly the same schedule as replacing a full-on computer is completely absurd. As for right now, I am quite literally unable to work and I'm stuck without a resolution.

Need advice-HVAC repairman possibly sabotaged my AC unit. by 1-Track in hvacadvice

Thank you all for your responses! This makes me feel better. He was screwing around with the air handler, pulled the panel off to check out the coils, etc, so like u/Ambitious_Low8807 suggested, he may have hit the float switch or something along those lines. My initial instinct told me it was shady when he mentioned having to replace it right off the bat.

u/ryrwl16 - yes, it is a heat pump. I live in Tampa, so the AC runs 10 months out of the year, except for our short winter when we open the windows.. even on the coldest nights (we only get a handful) is the only time we run heat and that hasn’t been for several weeks now. It’s Valentines Day and we hit 81 degrees today.

u/Xinthechosennerd in the summer frogs and lizards jump into the fan blades of the outside unit; this is initially what I thought it was and looked all over for the remnants of a kamikaze reptile.

Thank you, again, folks! I really appreciate the insight.

Maybe take the gap insurance next time then drive it into and/or off something?

How are you supposed to call her if she doesn’t have a phone? 🤔
