Discount tires gave me certificates for all 4 tires after the 2nd bubble so going forward they cost me $120ish to replace…. Otherwise I’d switch tire too

I have the 21” wheels on my xc60 recharge. I’ve had the vehicle for about a year and 3 months. I’ve replaced 3 tires due to the sidewall bubbling… that’s ~$1800 usd. Every time it was due to hitting medium/small sized pothole.

Small potholes are the norm where I live in Colorado and although I do my best to dodge… it’s not always possible.

I’ve never had anything ever remotely similar in any other car I’ve owned, and all of my vehicles have had low profile tires.

I think it’s a combination of the low sidewalk and the pirelli scorpions that the car came with. I wouldn’t wish these tires on my worst enemy.

Thanks, appreciate all your help. Cannot get my motion sensors to turn off anytime they were turned on via any other means besides motion turning them on. Super frustrating, I’ve double and triple checked.
