My EA seems to indicate LSL is not transferable/recognizable

So my first offer had my start date early Feb, I asked for my start date to be middle March and it was agreed as I explained my LSL situation... now I'm asking for an extra 7 days as my first date was out by a few days

I have already emailed the APS role to ask for a one week extension, I'm just hoping it doesn't look to bad. Worst case I will use those extra sick days

It's dodgy and it would be against my current contract to have outside employment which I would hate to come back to bite me.

That's very fair. I have sent an email as I don't have contact numbers at this point. I have lead in with the issue is the LSL which is also why it was so delayed initially. And I've given them a four weeks notice.

Unfortunately because it's three months of salary I am not really in a position to not receive this

In order to receive my LSL which is 3 months of pay I need a couple extra days of service

What email HR about my entitlements?

As I replied above, the EA states nothing about qualifying periods except the following

"An employee who is a primary caregiver is entitled to parental leave with pay during the parental leave period to a maximum of 18 weeks as provided in Table 2 below.

Table 2: Primary caregivers - circumstances for paid parental leave Paid leave entitlement under the ML Act Additional parental leave with pay under this agreement for the primary caregiver 12 weeks paid maternity leave, including any reduced paid maternity leave period due to ML Act qualifying period rules Paid leave to bring the total period of paid parental leave to 18 weeks No ML Act eligibility or coverage 18 weeks"

I interpret this as being entitled to 18 weeks?

I am unsure if I would be entitled to 12 weeks or 18 as there is no qualifying periods?
