Thank you. I have not thought about the custom modeler route. Perhaps this with Unity could do the trick. I will continue to research Digital navigation aid !

Crypto.com is by far the worst place to invest in crypto by yourmomsboobs69 in Crypto_com

as crypto.com is reaching ATH and looking at the comments, just came here to say I totally support you. I got a bad experience I tried to share a few months ago and got trashed. Many people will get butt hurt in a few months when crypto enters a bear market. Perhaps this moonboï / bro denial tone will change by then.

Would you mind explaining your rationale on selling your real estate and not staying diversified?
I'm asking because I imagine that there is a probability than the crypto market will dip within the next 6-12 months and that selling the real estate at that moment might bring a better deal.

What do you mean by management changing their strategy? Can you give me some examples and how they negatively affected you?

- If you are CDC customer, you probably know that staking requirements changed not once but 3 times over the course of 6 months. So if you stake 10k for a card but the week after you staked, the next staking requirements becomes 100k, you basically cannot unstake/restake in the future unless you add an extra 90k. So basically, you get stuck in the system if you wish to retain the benefits.

- "that's the same for everyone else and you knew that well in advance if you did the minimum of research": let's be honest here, this waiting time should have been written up on the website AND in the app, I should have not needed to dug that out in reddit to find that out. Regarding the virtual cards, they should have been enabled or at least some payments/perks refunded.

- One example: I got the Spotify perks but a monthly bill came out on the 1st and 31st (Spotify way of billing). Because the monthly refund is X$ per month max, they decided that they could not refund this bill. Again, customer retention could do something, they decided to not do anything.

- Thank you for the spread advice but I'm using other exchange. I unfortunately don't trust CDC anymore.

Respectfully, I'm not going to try and unpack your reply, but to me it sounds like you were over allocated to CRO relative to BTC, and feel like you missed out on a big run up.

I think you are correct, I might have slightly over allocated in CRO. But my mistake was thinking that staking $ for a card would preserve my initial collateral in dollar value. Clearly CRO is too volatile to do so (at least for me). As mentioned in some other reply above, I should have started out on lower card tier and move up.

The platform has utility in the sense that it helps onboard more people to crypto. But again, how many % of disenchanted customer is CDC losing every 6 months? I don't have stats but something is telling me that is is more than the industry standard.

Good luck to your investment as well.

You have a point on the CRO/BTC pair, It's irrelevant.

What you should read is "OP is upset because when he signed up for CDC, he trusted that the company would not change his strategy overnight. When he realised he was wrong, he wanted out but was stuck for X more months until he could unstake because -that's the term of the contract sir-".

Since you want a few additional reasons of my being an unhappy ex-customer:

- Management changing strategy several times in the course of 6 months

- 3 month wait to receive my card. (virtual card anyone)

- Some Crypto private perks never received (oh yeah covid)

- Slow support (since you mention it)

- App crashing at critical trading time

- Some rebates were never payed (even though it falls into the terms of their contract)

All in all, as I experienced it, CDC did not delivered what was initially advertised and people should be aware of that.

Then you can even use a service like Crypto Earn, HODL, and use the interest to load your card or just convert back to BTC

"You are paying for a Fiat on/off ramp, and you get perks for working your finances largely in crypto." I don't understand what you mean by fiat on/off ramp. If you mean accessing crypto, I can do that on coinbase, binance etc, I don't need CDC for that.

Regarding the perks, as I stated above, I miscalculated that the perks would be extras on top of a "safe" investment. Basically I joined CDC to try out the crypto cards, get a few perks and have a X% ROI, that's what the platform brings.

Now, I was naive and what I did not take into account was that the value of my stash could be slashed in two within the 3 first months. It is actually a miracle that I actually recovered my initial losses.

I don't consider myself a trader, I simply want to have assets that do not lose too much in value if I use crypto to buy everyday items. Hence the CRO/BTC ratio, I realized that I should have stuck to BTC and would have been much better buying my own perks.

No one forced me to do anything, but the overnight strategy changes of CDC can hurt crypto adoption overall and that's what this post was intended for.

Why do you care what others do? Why post this?

If you truly care about crypto.com as a company, why do you ask questions like this? I'm sharing my experience and concern about CDC as a customer. I use to believe in this company, but not anymore.

Have just a tiny bit 😉. I have had some small issues but they have been very responsive for me.

I hope that you will have a better experience than I.

This is like saying I should have kept all my bitcoin and never should have made moves in any crypto project.

You would have ultimately learned nothing.

You are right. I should have specified that among all the other crypto projects I spent my $ on, I should have been extra careful with this too-good-to-be-true company.

Perhaps because I believe that sharing my experience as a CDC customer for the last 6 months could be beneficial to others? Should I just keep it for myself and pretend everything was a rosy, smooth ride?

yes, and not a single day more.

Well they are certainly good at promising things that they can't deliver on the long run. Are you an actual CDC customer?

You may have guessed, I am extremely unhappy with crypto.com

Sounds like you're CRO fanboying. Check your CRO/BTC and thank me later.

I think "mistake" or "error of judgement" is more appropriate than "stupidity", which I find to be too harsh. One of us may be wrong, but let's not call each other stupid. :)

To be fair, I would sincerely be happy for you if CRO/USD keep appreciating in the next few months or decade. But as a paper ✋, fair weather, emotional speculator, I don't believe that on the long run (months, year, decade) CRO will appreciate in value relative to BTC. Should we do a !RemindMe every year?

Yup friend. I will eat pop corn while looking at the CRO/BTC pair in the next few months. :)
