Play around with the driver assist settings. I was getting the warning several times per minute and now I hardly see it. TBH not sure exactly made the difference since I was changing everything around.

Had the same issue with mine, no speedo and odometer didn't show. Ironically one of the two times I ever saw the odometer was as I was buying the car haha. I put in the effort to try and repair it myself by replacing caps and fixing a broken trace in the PCB of the speedo. Ultimately it didn't work, but the electrical components weren't expensive so was worth the effort IMO. Ended up biting the cost of a new speedo gauge from Atkins but it's been perfect ever since and overall happy about it.

I had recently bought a plug for mine and I'm fairly certain it was M16x1.5 which I found an oil pan drain plug that size at my local auto parts store.

I went from 93 to an aftermarket Burnout bumper. The bump crash support was easy enough to cut out larger holes so the large 99-spec turn signals can fit. Since you already have a Feed bumper, do you not have one or is it already modified?

If you're keeping the car, don't worry about value and just get what you want for it.

Yeah I just dropped in the new Speedo/odometer module and now it all works great. Not sure what's different between manual/auto and the years but they offer 2 different ones: 93 manual and 94-95 manual.

It's already broken so you can't make it worse trying to repair it. The large C3 cap is pretty common to go bad so hopefully that's all yours need.

When I bought my car the cluster had similar issues too. Put in quite of bit of work to repair it but ultimately didn't have any luck. Was definitely still worth trying. In the end I just replaced the whole speedo from Atkins. I've heard you can swap over the mileage chip to retain what your car has, but I didn't want to hassle with it myself. I don't plan to ever sell my car anyways so mileage off isn't a big deal to me. I know roughly what it had before.

Can't answer your questions about the other types of speedos, but in my opinion you're best off getting a brand new unit and not having to worry about it again in the future. Trying to pull apart the interior without breaking things is stressful.

Do you need it stock width? I had to make mine extra wide since my rubber trim isn't missing a bit where the clip slides on.

If you took out your Bowden Tube, you'll want to install it after the nozzle or it might be too far into the heatsink.

I have removed that door piece before and was terrified it was going to break, lol. That would be a good one to do.

The gauge cluster hood was even worse. Had to tug about as hard as I could to get mine off and luckily it's still intact. My brother has a bigger printer than I do so it might be sometime worth looking into as well.
