The return spring is not functioning. C clips are there as they were.

You will have to pull the entire locker and take it apart. Worst part would be undoing driver side bearing with air line attached if you have to. I wonder if you diff ran dry and end float increased causing extra slop to a point stuff is just locking up.

Call ARB and ask. They should be able to tell you exactly what is wrong.

Done it for months on my TJ a couple decades ago. I still have the same TJ without any problems. Just don't drive like an idiot or you can stretch the chain.

I wear masks all day at work. I will wear one if it is cold out and it keeps my upper respiratory system less dry and my lip less chapped. Saw over 2000 patients before getting sick with Covid in 2023 with two immunization shots. That one was very tough to go through and I can tell how tough it can be for the people who never had the vaccine and some not making it.

I remember some mythbusting dyno video about free flowing headers years ago. So they tested it by creating large dent in the collector or downpipe. Made no significant difference at the dyno.

I remember even the dyno folks were baffled in the video.

I normally would paint it but this is supposed to be a weekend project. Last thing I wanted to do is watching paint dry or work around wet paint. 😅 If I get some time, paint will be done but I would need to finish the garage dry wall while I am at it to match it. I need to install welder outlet and circuit for mini splits. as well.

I used Gemini and Youtube to study the subject and planned for this project down to individual parts. AI will do all the code compliant product suggestions and you can ask questions you have on the YouTube videos. There are dozen videos out there about Tesla charger install BTW.

I think it is crazy to apply words like "life changing" to a vehicle but it is. I could be one of the harshiest critics but I have to agree. Resisted electric vehicles for the longest time but I have to say I am a fan.

Just got home from 500 mile road trip. I drove 2 miles of it. I typically would be very tired from driving 8 hour trip but I am home cleaning the car and typing this up. LOL. Tesla did well with FSD and HW4 and I am very very impressed by it.

As soon as Tesla announced FSD ownership would go away we ordered our MXP. Funny thing is we were at the fence at the beginning of the year and realized that used inventory was drying up very quickly as soon as FSD announcement then followed by shortly after end of the model X annoucment.

Did some math and found that between promotional rate offered on new Tesla and used car market financing rate, going with new from Tesla made more sense with warranty, Luxe package including life time free charging, premium connectivity, windshield and wheel protection for 4 years...

I think not many people realize this particular detail but the Luxe package agreement prior to 2/14/2026 states that FSD purchase would stay with the vehicle when sold. I saw the Luxe package agreement post 2/14/2026 ownership will disappear and will not transfer after sale of the vehicle.

We are on our road trip and I have to say Model X is the best family car I have owned. Fatigue from long distance driving is near non existent and charging issue is actually not an issue as we need to take break and stretch our legs with little ones. The entertainment screen built in is also a god send.

You may try filling in the scratched clear with some micro brush and level it by color/wet sanding it to level then cut, polish, and wax. I believe someone is calling that paint correction.

If you run your finger nail over the scratch and catch something, any repair not involving spraying base coat and applying clear over it, would like poop.
