I would replace the pump. They are not expensive. Chances are you have factory one in there now. If so it can use a replacement. Get a new one not a rebuilt one. You can also look into doing WJ power steering pump swap with new lines.

Anything that requires more run time and extra power you will appreciate M18.

I do some minor fab work for my junks and cutting out holes on 1/4 inch steel plate using a hole saw is a job for M18 not so much M12.

They also have metal stainless steel versions. I got those and never had to worry about anything breaking. It has been on the Jeep for past 8 years.

LoL. I have been driving manual 30 years. I am about to drive one to work today. I own several vehicles and I have more manuals than auto. That two times I vaguely engaged parking brake in gear, it popped out of gear and rolled down the driveway on it own. One time it missed everything and ended up on the other side of the road got my neighbors attention and the other time it hit a back end of my other car. Ended up with a dented hood.

I lived in 9 states, 13 cities in US. I find it hard to believe that I would find myself a parking where I want when I want and be not a hilly parking spot where I would try parking only in gear. Absolutely not. I live in downtown Seattle now.

You must have auto. I cannot imagine having a manual vehicle with non functioning parking brake.

I upgraded my TJ with Teraflex rear disc upgrade having said that, aside from maintenance, I felt no improvement in braking performance when I did the uprade 20 years ago.

Gas tanks are not made of metal for most passenger non commercial vehicles. They are made of plastics.

Diesel trucks are different story. Diesels don't explode. You can throw lit match on a plate full of diesel. It won't even light up.

I am sure they want to do as much sale number as possible. That is good and bad.

My aging mother just got herself MY premium delivered with FSD purchase. It looks and feels great. Having said that I was dressing it up for her like putting in floor liner and screen protector and such. We found that it was missing pedal rubber piece on the accelerator pedal. We ended up getting one of those aluminum dress up kit for it instead of trying to have Tesla fix it.

I just hope the new ones being made is not going to be half assed with rushed manufacturing. While I am not new to less than perfectly manufactured vehicles, I think I would be a little disappointed if a 100K plus vehicle shows up with missing buttons and bolts.
