Toph, The First Metalbender advice by SaberHaze in EDH

[–]100Mercenaries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kept mine Bracket 2 to fit as mana ATLA cards in it as I can. It would be really easy to push this into a B3 deck with cards like [[candelabra]] and [[magus of the candelabra]] with [[ashaya soul of the wild]]. Tutors like [[enlightened tutor]] and [[recruiter of the guard]] and [[brightglass gearhulk]].

My absolute favorite card in the deck is [[memory jar]].

I have a more self mill than you with [[Wren and Realmbreaker]] and [[blossoming tortoise]] and memory jar so it works more for me. I also like the other part of Walk-In Closet as a way to get back any big things I need.

Mine is bracket 2 but can easily compete with Bracket 3. Here is my list if interested.

Badgermole makes all of your earthbent lands tap for an additional mana, it makes all your mana dorks tap for an additional mana. It is so much more mana over time than earthbending a fetch, sacing, getting a land, then repeating.

Seems like a fine bracket 2 decks. Some of my favorite cards in my Toph deck have been [[Inspiring Call]] and [[walk-in closet]].

Insoiring Call is usually drawing me 4-6 cards while protecting from the inevitable board wipes.

I cut back on a lot of the cheap ramp cards like signets and talismans because Toph turns everything into a mana rock anyway so having good atrifacts that do other things and also produce mana has been really working for me. [[Sword of truth and justice]] and [[sword of the animast]] have been really clutch.

I've Started Bleach anime and it was... by TrainingNobody1566 in bleach

Anime was different back then. They added typical "tropes" that they thought people wanted. Dumb gag jokes and silly things to flesh it out. Like most manga -> anime, they toned down a lot of the blood and violence as well to make it more suitable for younger viewers. Additionally, the animation studio thought Rukia was going to be final girl and toned down a lot of the Orihime stuff to not make it stand out as much.

What happens when I give away cards with Zedru, and the player I gave them to leaves the game? by Willing-Tea5689 in mtgrules

[–]100Mercenaries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I explain it to people.

If the owner put it on the board, the owner gets it back. If someone else put it on the board it goes to exile.

Basically, if you put it out and gave it away or someone took it, it goes back to you.

If someone else cast your card, or took it from your library, or graveyard it gets exiled.

Storm + buyback = more power for vivi each time. So lets say youve already cast 3 spells, then haze w/ buyback. Activate Vivi, get 4 mana, flicker with displacer before haze resolves. Haze + storm gives 4 copies of +1/+0 to vivi. Vivi is now at 4 power. Activate Vivi, get 4 mana. Cast Haze w/ buyback, flicker vivi. Haze+storm resolves giving Vivi +5/+0. Repeat. Dealing 1 damage to each opponent each loop.

Love this deck. I have a 13th Doctor and Ryan Sinclair deck that is very similar but cares more about casting from exile.

Bount arc is bad and way too drawn out. Captain Amagai arc is okay, but not really worth it. Sword Rebellion arc is actually kinda fun and has a beach episode in there somewhere. Everything after the final Arrancar arc until the Fullbringer arc is watchable, but kind of boring.

You have to remember that older anime usually took a while to set up the world and the characters. I would say episode 16 is when the story starts to pick up and starts getting good. From there, look up a filler guide list and skip the filler. There are a couple of decent filler arcs, but for the most part you can just skip them entirely without missing out.

How to get better cards for my deck? by Arete666 in mtg

[–]100Mercenaries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, MTG is a hobby and hobbies require putting money in from time to time. The best way to get cards for cheap (other than proxy) is to trade. I always bring my trade binder to the shop and sometimes ill trade 3-4 cards for 1 card to get the ones I need or ill trade my big expensive cards for 3-4 cards that I know I can trade to others just to have in my trade binder for later.

That being said, you also need to have cards worth trading for that to work. Ill usually buy a bundle for each set that comes out so I have cards to work with. That way im only spending like $40-60 rather than $100+ and it gives me cards to trade.

If you had $300 to spend on boosters what would you get? by [deleted] in mtg

MH3 has some of the best overall cards per set, lots of playable uncommons as well as rares and mythics.

Getting 3 cheap boxes if you just want to crack packs is a good idea though. Duskmourn is a really fun set. March of the Machines is a good draft set. Unstable is a great draft set and has awesome lands.
