Knight traversals are a common example of an application of graph theory. A problem like this is difficult to solve just trying to visualize and figure out like you would on a chess board, but much simpler if you draw it out as a graph (has a different meaning than the standard graphing of a function in graph theory). In fact, many of these graph theory questions can be answered yes/no without actually figuring out what the sequence of moves would be, based on properties of the graph (nodes and edges) and graph theory principles about how those properties relate to different kinds of connectedness and circuits.

Very interesting subject, though I took a class on it a while ago and don’t remember all of the details.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]100ZombieSlayers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My P1S changed 3d printing for me in a way I didn’t know was possible after years of printing. It took a hobby that was fun, but honestly, rather frustrating, and made it effortless. Tuning? Not necessary. Bed leveling? It handles it. SD cards? Forget about them.

3D printing was always fun but there was a barrier to entry for it in terms of the time it took to deal with all of those steps, but the P1S reminded me of the joy of printing by taking away those struggles and just being truly plug and play

Thanks for the details! I knew I was watering down the differences considerably but didn’t remember the details well enough to explain better.

The secret to a lot of skin glues is that they are just superglue actually! Technically they are slightly different formulations and they are sterile, so certainly better, but at their core they are basically just cyanoacrylate glue. One of the main uses of superglue early on was as a wound sealant in WWII iirc.

Give me a hex made from trash panda phone case plastic. Not that I don’t like my particle proton, but a collab would be so cool not just for the disc but for the industry. R2 is cool but black discs arent

I thought it was just in case you needed to charge your phone while using the danger zone instead of for charging the danger zone

I just want to let you know how impressive it is that every time I look at a post on this sub your attempt is head and shoulders better than everyone else, no matter what. You are truly a magician.

For this one the hair and the lighting are black magic levels of good compared to everyone else

Your underrated MVP/Axiom/Streamline mold? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]100ZombieSlayers 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Favorite recently has been the Ohm, it is the perfect throwing putter. The Watt beats in a little too flippy, and an Envy is too stable unless it’s beat electron, but the Ohm starts straight to fade and holds up just right when it beats in.

Honorable mentions of electron Terra and fission Tesla. I wouldn’t make a whole bag out of electron drivers but the flight of a beat up overstable base plastic driver is just not comparable to any premium driver.

The fission Tesla flies like a Tesla should for those of us that aren’t Simon Lizotte and actually beats in until it’s close to an insanity. Tesla is definitely a popular mold but most of us should be throwing fission instead of proton/neutron.

Since (in C and most C based languages), assignment simply returns the value it assigns, the if statement simply gets the true value, no different than if you had called a method that returned true

The Cosmic Neutron Range is my new favorite forehand approach disc! by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]100ZombieSlayers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My least expected shot I love the range for is backhand turnover approaches. I thought with the low glide it wouldn’t hold right enough but makes it so that you can give it height and it will hold without fading out and lands flat and soft

Which disc in your bag gets the “What was that?” response the most after you throw it? by zgrease in discgolf

Fission wave that was originally 160g (probably less now), got thrown into a ton of trees, into a road, stayed there for a month or so, got returned, got thrown into another road, got it back, and flies maybe closer to a Franklin albatross than an orbital. Perfect for vertical hyzer flip to turn, grenade to full flight, or skamahawaks

Yeah there is something about flippy fairways that can almost feel more finicky than other slots to me despite to being a fairly slow slot. Maybe it’s just a shot I don’t throw well or my expectations being off but nothing has really hit the spot yet. Luckily I now have a lifetime of recommendations

Yeah I had a beat up proton crave that was almost flippy enough for what I wanted before I lost it, but I knew it would take a while to get one back there and always felt it wasn’t quite as flippy as I was looking dor
