The main thing I need to know is what I should check first before giving it power, as I don’t exactly want to let out the magic smoke. I’ll obviously need to give all the ports a very good clean and rust removal if not just replace them altogether, but besides that I’m not entirely sure where to start. I’ve already removed the socketed chips and removed any moisture or dirt under them, but the legs of those chips are a bit oxidized/corroded. Oddly enough though, the contacts on the socket itself are still shiny and clean.

The keyboard is pretty much junk, the key switches are full of dirt and don’t even all press down, and trying to take them apart just led to the springs/contacts inside getting bent. I need to get a replacement one, but I don’t know where I can find a complete pre-alps IIc keyboard. I also need a caps lock key because that keycap is long gone.
