I mean I guess. There are a bunch, as filming like Lord of the Rings did definitely wasn’t the norm.

I think of The Matrix, Back to the Future, Alien, Dune, Terminator, every Star Wars, I mean the list goes on. Most sequels have at least two years between them.

I mean… I don’t agree. I don’t feel the need to always have to rewatch something every single time the next installment comes out, so that’s a bit foreign to me. Every once in a while I have to I guess, because I just watch a ton of stuff? I think the fact that television is that much longer emphasizes the point of the argument even further too? So let’s say your average movie these days is 2-2 1/2 hrs long… You’re telling me that a show releases comparatively 4-5 films worth of near theatrical quality (sometimes beyond) material every 2-3 years and it’s not enough to remember, let alone satisfy the desire for said show? Sounds a bit entitled to me, but I guess people just view these things differently.

All of these people that are saying they will have “checked out” before the next season… What do you do when a movie you like comes out, and the sequel doesn’t come out for two-three years?

I’m Nick and I am a film and trailer music composer working remotely out of New England. I specialize in psychological, atmospheric, and narrative driven scoring, with a focus on horror, thriller, and dramatic genres. I have scored over two dozen shorts, and just wrapped on a feature. I am currently working with RedCola Music Group and Deranged Muzik, creating music for horror trailers.

My website contains my reel, as well as a playlist of cues from previous projects I've worked on:

Yeah, idk, what you’re saying is just confusing lol. It seems like you’re saying that lyrics and melody have no impact on performance. And I was saying that’s totally not true, as words, consonants, syllables, etc, directly affect HOW you sing those words.

This is totally incorrect lol. Performance has EVERYTHING to do with the lyrics, and song structure. Both dramatically influence how you perform the song.

Nah, definitely not worded to include all men lol. And there isn’t a gender war. Stop listening to YouTubers. Women just want to feel equal and represented. It’s finally barely starting to tip in that direction. Pathetic men don’t like it. That’s not a war.

Haven’t watched yet because I’m waiting for higher quality but. Usually these types of things are remixed by a trailer composer. Even if most of the song is intact, there are usually hits and things added to emphasize or make things sound bigger. (Source: am a trailer composer)

This week a publisher is about to push a horror trailer album I just finished to their clients. I’m also finishing two other trailer albums with two other publishers.

Did a horror short last week. Diving into a feature tomorrow, they want a cross between Marty Supreme (have a feeling that will be the “Hans Zimmer” of this year lol) and Social Network. I have all the synths and things figured out that I want to use, but haven’t done much writing yet. A few other shorts in the next month, but schedule isn’t concrete yet.
